Kiffin is a complete and total tail on his own. But having Satan oops Saban as his mentor fills in the blanks. But in this case fills in the check. But look at Multi-Millionaire Saban, he gets $500K per year Still from Bama as an. “Advisor” while he’s part of the ESPN Crew !!

With anyone else that would be a conflict of interest. But Saban is considered a god of CFB. I wonder if Saban will get honorable mention in the Referee Hall Of Fame ? Speaking of which Saban has trained DeBoer well on how to work the Refs. Notice how DeBoer belly aches and whines and pitches a hissy fit on Any and All penalties called on his team !! Even the ones that are Obvious penalties !! It’s like How Dare You Flag MY Team !! Don’t you know we’re Bama ??!!??

Truthfully That is my number one concern for our Dawgs playing them in the SECCG any 50-50 calls will automatically go in Bama’s favor !!

All I know, is....HE WILL NEVER COACH A GEORGIA BULLDOG IN ATHENS !!!!

That's all that matters to me and my family. Lol.....the only time we think about LSU.…is when we play em. And, usually....we beat em in a physical game

My reaction?..…"Whatever. Lol....it's too late for LSU. UGA is a juggernaut that can't be brought down by the likes of Kiffin.

Kirby might hold a consultant's job for the Lane Train. Give him a soft landing spot....when they boot his ass out of Baton Rouge. Lmao

What a slimeball. No AD worth his salt would let Kiffin hang around and poach players to his new team for a month plus. I used to find Kiffin entertaining. No more. I hope he ends up like Kelly in 2-3 years. He's had mediocre results until Ole Miss gave him everything he wanted. He had a good thing going but his ego and wallet told him to leave. Now the target is on HIS back.

Lol....hard to figure, a "Head Coach" that would walk away from a winning team.

Ole Miss...."not a premier job with a rich history"??? C'mon man....why not? It could be. LSU wasn't always the best job....and Ole Miss is a better job, now, than it once was....imo.

It's gonna be really tough, for Programs like Ole Miss, FSU and Texas A&M to build sustainable programs....cause, evertime a coach works out, he's gone.…to one of the preferred jobs with big money.

Programs are not operating on a level playing field....and, never were....but, we keep acting as if. As if, this is still an amateur college sport....and teams ranked below #6 have any business in a playof for "Best"....a Natty.

Amateur??? It is....but, it aint. At the lower levels.…where the good coaches & players filter "upward" into the higher levels…? Those guys still play for "fun and a win"...and nothing else. Good football. They feed the superior beasts, as Darwin would say. Lol

Those lower tier programs, have become a feeder system of players and coaches, used to maintain the Premier Programs (with all the cash)....OSU, USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Florida, Florida, Florida....Lol.

As they say....That's entertainment folks. The show must go on. I'm pulling for Ole Miss to meet UGA in the Natty....after the Dawgs spank OSU's behind in the semis.

Shame on you LK. That he decided to do this now is beyond tacky and selfish. I don't fault him for taking advantage of opportunity, I fault him and LSU for the timing. The OM kids have to be thinking really? you gotta do this now? What a distraction for the kids going into the playoffs. Especially with the best season they've had in ages. Unbelievable. If I were the OM AD I would show LK the door immediately and deny him the opportunity to coach another day at OM. There has to be an assistant the kids trust and will rally around.

I'll tell ya one thing.…it's THE move of the last 10 years. Imo.

If a Local Yokal like Ed Ogeron....and, a moron like "The Mad Hatter", can win Championships at LSU....what do you think, a worldly coach like Lane Kiffin is gonna do, there? Lol

I look forward to a return, to the old UGA/Richt...LSU/Saban rivalry of the early 2000's. I always loved watching that game, regardless of who won [sort of].

I guess you can say I love the Dawgs....but, I love great football more. Thank God for Richt & Smart....cause, I never had to choose between the two, while they were there.

That game used to be a 15 round heavyweight brawl from beginning to end. Usually, with high stakes. And, the Dawgs always got in some great licks....didn't ya, Mister Pollack.

    Go Dawgs!!!

@BornADawg - Get serious! The man was being paid NINE MILLION DOLLARS a year to coach a football team. He doesn’t need a raise to do what’s best for him and his family. They’re not suffering in any way. He has flourished in Oxford. I assume his family has also. This “best for me and my family” line is nonsensical in this fact pattern. And threatening his assistant coaches to leave with him yesterday or be left out of ever being an assistant coach for him ever again is totally inappropriate. If they did go with him, Ole Miss would be playing in the CFP without half their coaches. How low must a man go before he’s called out?

    You're right. And, he's right

A better man would've chosen differently, under the circumstances....imo.

But...That's not Lane Kiffin. Never was....probably never will. He is who he is and Ole Miss knew that, when they hired him.

Lol....like the snake said to the deer, when he bit him...."you knew what I was, when you offered the ride".

LSU just went all-in with Kiffin. They own him, now. And, the rights to any success or failure he might have while there.

He gave up the privilege of being called a "Great Coach", by accepting this co-op job with Louisiana...imho. Lol....now, he's part of The Borg.

I couldn't throw away the freedom he had at Mississippi, to put on the Chains of Louisiana....and, turn my back on MY Team, like that....particularly under these circumstances.

I'd love to say...."It's ALL on him now. He has a huge load to carry and a minefield to cross, between now and Spring Training".

BUT....I can't do that. He left 85 Young men hanging....and, taught his Kids how to do the same one day. I hope those little Kiffin Apples roll down the hill, when they fall off the tree. Lol

    Oh well....it ain't me. Lol
