Exactly, its not him leaving, can't say i blame him. Its how this fiasco was handled from the beginning. Lane could've put it to rest early, but he chose to bask in the limelight as long as possible, as he seems to love to do. But remember, he is the "victim" according to some, based on the outcome of this situation he helped fuel, along with the media tossing their gas on the fire.
Kiffin trying to take players & coaches with him. He hasn't changed since he left UT, same "Ol" Kiffin. A zebra never changes his stripes - LSU is probably getting what they deserve.
I don't know, a lot of people with no skin in the game, seem to care as much about LK as he cares about himself. And that's saying alot.
@randomsportsfan
I admire your well reasoned take on this imbroglio.
I'm reminded of the fictional character maverick in Top Gun, who finally learns that he's not going to leave his wing man to chase fame and glory. Kiffin has left his wingman (his university) in a lurch 4 times now, and he still hasn't learned a thing. He'll never win the big prize.
"If I am the new coach at Auburn or Florida - or the existing one at Oklahoma for that matter - I tell my athletics director to break the bank to hire Kiffin's OC."
@randomsportsfan Lane Kiffen knows what he has in Charlie Weiss Jr. and probably made sure that plane for Baton Rouge wasn't leaving without him! His seat was probably secured before Mrs. Kiffen was assigned! LOL😂
Apparently, Jared Curtis has moved up his signing day to Dec. 3rd. I realize it's off topic.
I wonder why? I thought he wanted to wait until after a big game this week/friday night? Maybe all the speculation about Vandy is a distraction before the big game? Since choosing UGA is the expected choice, the more controversial choice would be the flip. To me, this bodes well for UGA. Get rid of all the controversy before the game. But who knows?
his game is Thursday. Wanted to settle it before the game. Tip of the cap for that one.
