A DGD! What a catch by BB! We all knew what Brock could do, now the rest of the country gets to see it.Too bad Brock doesnt have much help in Vegas, or he could be even better, imagine that. Opposing teams know he is their best player, know he's getting the ball, yet he still makes catches like that.
@1SICemDAWGS1 Bowers' biggest problem is his QB, Geno Smith. (Smith's perseverance, great attitude and hard work translating into a much longer NFL career than anyone expected is a great story, but the guy is getting up there in years now plus he was never actually at any point a good NFL QB.) I know that a lot of Dawgs are adversarial towards him these days, but I am hoping that the Raiders reteam Bowers with Carson Beck in the NFL draft. Beck isn't that accurate on screens or deep passes and gives the ball to the other team a bit too much - his 4 picks against Louisville is why they missed the playoff - but the strongest part of his game, an accurate fastball on intermediate routes, is perfect for Bowers' game. Bowers would have gotten 1100-1200 yards easy playing with Beck in 2025 had he not gotten hurt. Hopefully the Raiders will watch tape from the 2024 season and come to the same conclusion. This isn't a very good draft year for QBs so they could do a lot worse.
I'd agree, Smith is not the QB to showcase both his, and Brock's talent. Brock would make a good QB look great, too bad Geno is a notch under good. Brock makes Geno look better than he actually is. A lot of his throws take efforts like Brocks to make it a completion. He is not very accurate on many throws, either sails it on a deep pass, or low throws on intermediate passes.
Them former UGA linebackers with12 tackles!!!
@reddawg1 Yeah, I saw that too lol.
@1SICemDAWGS1 With Bowers and the RB they drafted this year Jeanty, the Raiders are a QB and an OT away from having a pretty good offense. Hope they get both in the upcoming draft/free agency.
