If Bama loses, they don’t get in with 3 losses. Couple of years ago, They left a Georgia team out that was back to back national champions and had the longest winning streak in football. Put a Washington team in that Georgia would have beat like a bass drum and a Texas team that was not as good as last years Texas team or this years. Auburn shouldn’t have let Puff Daddy be the ball boy last week. Neither offensive team Bama or Georgia looked like well oiled offensive machines last week.
And, don't forget "Michigan"....the cheaters that had to vacate their wins. Shouldn't have been there, either. UGA, Bama & FSU should've. But?....just more muddy water under the bridge. Lol
" As the college football world knows, Alabama has owned Georgia, going 10-1 against the Bulldogs since 2008, including 7-1 with Kirby Smart, the former Crimson Tide defensive coordinator, as Georgia’s head coach. But that one exception came the lone time it was a rematch in the same season.
The second time comes Saturday, when Georgia, which lost 24-21 to Alabama on Sept. 27, gets another shot in the SEC championship. And if Georgia is looking for another reason for optimism, Smart is 3-0 as a head coach when he’s had a rematch game.
The counterpoint: So is Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer. "

So I guess maybe there's reason for hope this time…
PennState get your jet fueled up bc We about to do yall a solid and take Bama to the water. The defense has improved so much. Time to start painting that masterpiece. We got a great coaching staff don’t listen to rival fans acting like Georgia fans. The screen game is gonna be there. Get em running all over the field then drag them to the water.
Gotta love Seth!
Go Dawgs!
Man, I'll be glad when this Bama drought, is over.
Starting to feel a lot like the Tennessee/Florida rivalry of the '90's and early 2000's. Can count the number of times, one of those 2 teams, knocked the Dawgs out of contention for a Title....of any kind.
2017 still stings. That's the one that got away....imo. And, it always will be. That's not gonna change....but, it can be soothed a little bit, more and more, with each win. Gonna take a lot of wins against Bama, to forget that one, though. Lol
Richt, finally...in desperation...had the boys storm the endzone and generate 2 "unsportsman like" penalties to break the mold. Fulmer, eventually, was fired. And, that was that.
Sorry, off topic but maybe this puts an end to tampering and portal issues…good luck Georgia.

The Georgia athletic department seeks $390,000 in damages from former Bulldogs outside linebacker Damon Wilson II after his transfer last offseason to Missouri. Citing a clause in Wilson's NIL contract, Georgia asked a judge to force Wilson to enter arbitration to settle the dispute. Legal documents show that Wilson was served a court summons last week in Missouri.
If the judge sides with Georgia, this could be a landmark case in college athletics. Georgia and other schools include clauses in their NIL contracts that equate to buyouts, and a ruling in the Bulldogs' favor would set the precedent that such clauses are legally enforceable. Player buyouts could, in turn, become even more commonplace as schools seek to protect themselves financially from the perils of the transfer portal.
Time to end the madness. Or at the very least, make it hurt to scru your team over.
@Gramster - yeah, saw that earlier, binding agreement with a liquidated damages clause -
"When the University of Georgia Athletic Association enters binding agreements with student-athletes, we honor our commitments and expect student-athletes to do the same," athletics spokesperson Steven Drummond said in a statement to ESPN on Friday.
The problem is liquidated damages are not legally allowed to be used as punishment or primarily as an incentive to keep someone from breaking a contract.
Warning Way Off Topic !! Just needed some Dawgs fans comfort. My West Laurens Raiders lost in the semifinals tonight to Jefferson 17-13. Ty Cummings tried to play but his ankle was extremely swollen from last week’s game. He wasn’t able to practice this week.
SO close to a first time Ever State Championship game. Raiders exit the season 13-1 so I’m Very proud of them. They fought Very hard against a Very tough Jefferson team just couldn’t push through.
So if your a Jefferson Dragons fan hats off to you, you have a Great team !! Looks like it’s gonna be Jefferson vs Sandy Creek in the AAA State Championship. This will be as if I understood the announcers right Jefferson’s third straight appearance in the State Championship. So best wishes to Jefferson fans.
NOW I hope our Dawgs really tromp Bama for Two reasons 1) For ALL things Dawgs of course 2) To take some of this bitter taste out of my mouth. Go Dawgs beat Bama !! Turn the Tide to a trickle !!
@Gramster...I completely agree with you. Damon needs to be held accountable. But, this case may not go Georgia's way. The issue with that is it is illegal to use liquidated damages to either punish or enforce adhering to the contract. The school will need to prove they suffered actual economic damage. At 11-1 with all games sold out, that will be hard to do.
A big reason there needs to be enforceable laws and rules setup, or more players will take the easy way out.
DAWGS 27 alabama elephants 20
Appreciate the explanation, I was of the simplistic impression that Wilson took the 390k and then preceded to transfer out, should have known it’s never that simple. But to the point, I think it would be a great idea to have an enforceable payback clause in every player’s contract, no Nil this year if you willingly leave that year etc. Those recruits that don’t want to sign it, don’t sign them. It should filter out the kids that have the illusion of playing for $$$ versus playing for development, growth, and education and team…imho
Then.…I'll ask the obvious question.
IF...Those Clauses are unenforceable....
Why are they included in the contract?
Why weren't the Clauses disputed when the Contract was signed by both parties under Notary?
It's hard to dispute a Contract that's been read and signed by both parties. UGA has a case for damages. Not punishment.
Lol....this is business...it ain't personal. Just sayin'..
Go get em Big Red. They're scared of what you've put together since September. With good reason, IMO., Very few weaknesses...and none to exploit.
Ground & Pound....24 - 10
Aerial Attack.......…38 - 17
Both........................45 -13
There's one thing, I'd like to see, out of "this" UGA team.. A SHUTOUT!
The defense is overdue. Can UGA shutout Alabama?
I'd give anything to see it. Lol
