it never does! Alabama held Rburn last week and probly OU too…OU just figured out how to win.
My dad told me people have joked about Alabama holding and other penalties for decades…probly since Bear Bryant.
Schumann reminds me of a lesson my boss once served me while on active duty in the Army. Essentially, he said that it's easy to be a coach of the all star team, but in the real world you have play with the hand you're dealt. Schumann has had the pleasure of essentially coaching an all-star defense of more 5-star than 4-star players in the past at UGA. At first, everyone thought he's be promoted to be a head coach somewhere. But now that the D has fewer 4- and 5- star players, real coaching becomes more important. Seems like no schools have called on Schumann to be their head coach…. hmmm…
Connor Riley ceases to amaze me. Somehow, he thinks that an 11-1 record in the SEC at the end of the season somehow needs to be "salvaged." Is AI writing his stuff or what? Since when is 11-1 not absolutely wonderful? This young team has matured before our very eyes. The D is now carrying the team. So Connor needs a redo on this article.
It should be noted that very very few of the open head coaching positions this year were filled by coordinators.
I am more worried about Bobo's next man up and our offensive line than I am about Schumann and the defense tomorrow…

So far this 2025 season the Dawgs are 11-1, about to win their second straight SEC Championship, and a berth in the CFP as the #2 Seed. Even I could "salvage" that season! 😂

What's really funny...is, that the 7 fired Coaches are gonna be the best candidates for the open spots. Dummies. Lol
