They obviously lie when they claim they use analytics. Dawgs win every metric. They are simply a group of people with extreme bias against Georgia. They lack integrity. There is no way you get OSU ahead of UGA based upon analytics.
Just as egregious is the Bama bias. They lose by 21 in the SEC Championship and don’t move down at all? Ridicoulous and indefensible. Who in the Top 15 has OSU BEATEN? Texas by 7. UGA beat Texas by 21. Plus we beat Ole Miss and Alabama, both ranked in Top 10 (rightly or wrongly, but they’re ranked).
Yeap, the only thing I can come up with is a lack of integrity.

As long as we are going to have a subjective system vs. a super conference for rankings, then strength of schedule must be factored in. Given the current debacle it's clear that SOS is just something analysts throw around at their convenience. Proof of argument is IN and OSU, both with embarrassingly weak SOS ratings, are ranked ahead of UGA. And, it nauseates me to say this, but in all fairness, the Gumps are not ranked higher.

There's only one way forward and that's hang L's on everyone in our path. If CKS can replicate and improve on the performance we witnessed yesterday, the Dawgs are the monster under the bed and a Natty is ours for the taking.

    Go Dawgs!

Oregon and Ole Miss get to play tune up opening the season type of games to play. Knock off any rust play about three quarters and rest type of games. Why in the first round do they got two teams from the same conference playing. College football is crazy. Lane Kiffen you will never fall asleep the same because of your decision. A quiet moment will never be the same. One thought will always creep into your mind. Indiana and Ohio State getting some physical teams no matter who wins. This thing is wide open. GoDawgs!!!

The SEC had the best strength of schedule last year too and how'd that turn out? Strength of schedule is important but it isn't everything.

Georgia’s domination of Alabama in the SEC Championship Game resulted in a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. But the Tide also made the playoff and didn’t drop in the ranking. What does that say about the relevance (and the future) of the conference championship game? Check out my latest Junkyard Blawg.

Floored they put osu above us. We have better wins and destroyed the common opponent in TX when they won by 7. Oh well gotta buckle up and I love this team and how we are playing right now.

I’m actually glad we stayed at 3. I’d rather play the ole miss/tulane winner than Miami/ATM winner.

Can't disagree, 6 teams of mediocre parity, 5 weak 50% teams and 6 cupcakes…..The ACC should be begging The Irish to join the conference…..for conference credibility, to have 18 teams and to save ND of gridiron obscurity.

It is beyond me how The Dawgs are #3 rather than #2….that would have afforded an opportunity to finally play TAM….I think it was a LMAO moment when TOS lost another one because they don't seem to be able or unwilling to sign a quality kicker…and just the day before, The Dawgs signed the best kicker in America….who BTW lives less than 200 mile from Bucknut Country.

Don't worry Bill. As soon as Georgia loses another one, it'll start mattering again, just like it always did up until it started affecting Bama and Ohio State.

Edit: referring to Bill King's comment. The quote didn't show up for some reason.

Georgia also has a harder SOS and SOR than OSU. Not to mention UGA is a Conference champ.

UGA should be #2 seed. They had a higher strength of schedule over Ohio State and they beat their common opponent Texas like a drum, while Ohio State barely beat them.
