The Bulldogs (9-1) are coming off an impressive 84-65 win on Saturday in Atlanta over Cincinnati and next play at 7 p.m. on Thursday against Western Carolina.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than eating my "Mediocre Mike" crow…but we were 12-2 prior to SEC play last year and 13-4 the year before. So I'll just shut up and sit quietly in the naysayer's corner and let's revisit this in a month or so, yes? Until then, good luck roundball pups…
Love watching the hard court Dawgs this season. Just wish they would quit attempting so many 3's especially since their success rate is not so good.

Yes UGA will lose some in the SEC, it’s likely 11 or 12 teams will make the tournament, so it will be a battle every night but as a season ticket holder for years this is by far the best team since maybe early 2000’s.

Imo....Mike got to Athens and took on a mess of a basketball Program. He's been eating that elephant one bite at a time. Starting with the culture, then, the personnel.
Now....he's playing basketball. I've been sitting in that same corner, you're in.…since the mid-2000's. I'm comin' out, now....these boys are for real.
Great basketball....and, fun to watch. Mike White has always been that guy. Focused.
Trust me, I appreciate your enthusiasm, and brylcream wearing car salesman Tom Crean did do a number to our program, but looking at CMWs resume, this fast start against cupcakes is a common theme followed by, well I said I won't use the mediocrity mantra so I will just stop here, but I'll simply say wait and watch before declaring best since…we start with Auburn and FU after cupcake season is over. After cracking the Top25 last year what was it, 9 losses out of 11 SEC games? I will admit however, I love the new up tempo offense, White FINALY seems ready to abandon his non-adjusting lack of motion vanilla offense so yes, a little optimistic this year…go Dawgs
Lol....I did the "wait 'n watch" thing, last year...when I almost came out of the corner after the Kentucky game.
But, I remembered a similar start the year before...so, I stayed in the corner...and, I was glad. Cause, I wasn't too disappointed, when they played a sloppy brand of basketball.…with little improvement, throughout the season.
I'm tellin' ya...from out here in the "middle of the room" (Lol). This Dawg Team is not.....making a lot of boneheaded mistakes, turnovers, missed layups and free throws....as they have since White has been there.
I think he has HIS Team, this year. And, these guys play fast and together....no matter which 5 players are on the floor.
You can tell, they've put in a lot of work, since last season. I'm relaxed and confident that we're gonna get some competitive, winning basketball in Athens for a change.
They haven't looked this tight, in 20 years. Just sayin'.. Get on board bro'.. Lmao....join me out here, in "the middle of the room". Get out 'Dat corner. Corners are for Gators and Bees.
