@JeffSentell Great article Jeff !! Watched that game from start to finish and Wow what a game !! Those two teams looked like some college level teams. Two Titans clashing !! Dawgs are getting some great players from these schools with huge potential !!
Cant wait to see this young man in Athens! Watched that game, wasnt impressed at all with Green in the 1st half. But the 2nd half totally changed my mind. This kid is an elite athlete, he could play several positions at UGA if needed. He absolutely took over the game in the 2nd half against a stout Carrollton defense, very impressive!
I watched quite a bit of this game. Great game. The 2 stars were definitely Green and Helton.
Green is a very good RB. Could play RB for UGA. Wasn't as impactful as a DB as I thought he'd be. May have a higher ceiling or be more valuable to UGA at S. It will be fun to watch his development at S at UGA. He should also impact the return game. Kid's a player.
Helton is one of UGA's lowest ranked recruits. He was unblockable. I get that his higher ceiling may be at center on the IOL. May have an NFL future there. But if that dude is 6'2" 290 lbs as advertised I would love to see what he could do as a 3-4 DE/DT for UGA. Quick and strong.
Side note the younger Raiola brother overall did not impress. He did have 1 beautiful long ball but generally seemed to struggle w/throws though he was clearly a polished QB. I don't think he is committed anywhere and I expect him to commit to the same school as his brother in the TP.
I predict Helton will end up on the DL, strong ,twitchy and plays with his hair on fire, perfect candidate for DL.
