BigDawg 61, yeah good luck even finding this afternoon's game. You can find all the games for East Popcorn State in the regular season easier than a CFP playoff game…that is twisted. Heck I'm not even motivated enough to start a 10 day free trial of YouTubeTV to see Ole Miss crush Tulane, lol.

Tulane playing their hearts out but they are just grossly over matched by Ole Miss. On the other hand if our Dawgs show up even close to how they played Bama in the SECCG, then Ole Miss will feel how Tulane is feeling now !!
Well it’s exactly what the vast majority of Dawgs fans predicted the Rebs would do. Tulane plays with allot of heart,, in spite of the way high score their defense is very good, Among their own level. Ole Miss should have pulled their starters long ago but risking injury to show off. Not a good idea. Dawgs will quickly remind them about playing in the SEC !! Go Dawgs !!
We have seen the beautiful scenery at Oklohoma, TAMU, and OleMiss. Compare those SEC fans to this Oregon crowd. It’s a rough looking crowd in Autzen.
Tulane almost had it. What happened. It was close then they kicked off. OleMiss really had to throw the kitchen sink at em. CFP committee (Big10 reps) are slick with it. Matched up 4 SEC teams right off the rip. Bama/OU and UGA/OleMiss. Last year, greased it up for PennState so good it made Puff Daddy proud. Boise State and SMU guaranteeing a semifinal game. Make us play 9 conference games. Came up with the Strength of Record metric to put a number to how good you are at beating 2-9, 3-8, 4-7 teams. They Call it game control. I call it being good at beating future insurance salesmen and corporate managers.
Ole Miss failed terribly today. They won by four points Less than they did the first time they played Tulane this year. 🤣
Tulane should have been paired against aTm and JMU should have battled the U followed by OM against Ore. It would have made all 3 games much more competitive and enjoyable to watch…
Totally agree !! It’s just been stylish ( I guess you could say stylish) scrimmages for OM and OR. Didn’t prove anything that I can see.

While practicing/sparring in mixed martial arts or individual events like wrestling/boxing/jiu jitsu going against an undersized or overmatched opponent your instructor will say work on fundamentals and don’t overpower them bc it won’t work against an equal opponent. Work on things you’re not good at. I think Georgia does that when playing weaker opponents. They go into some of those games and they say we need to work on this and this and this instead of just out running them to the edge or throwing it downfield and just running the score up. I have seen them run the ball and run the ball and run the ball. Some of these teams should probably be working on weaker parts of their game instead of doing what they are already great at. I see that a lot at the beginning of the season but it also depends on where your program is at. Perennial powerhouse teams should focus on weaker areas of their game when playing smaller programs. Oregon struggles when a team matches them with speed especially with speed and size.
if your a backup player for teams like Oregon and Ohio State you ain’t playing unless they are by 55+ points. They always got some crazy stats too. I get it but once you got the game in control work on some things or maybe put some back ups in but that screws up their strength of record metric. How bad they can beat a team into absolute oblivion.
At Georgia if you’re on the 3 deep you better be ready to play. Georgia get an 24+ lead they will be guys playing you ain’t ever heard of. I don’t know coach it’s sort of early ain’t it. At Oregon or Ohio State if your 3rd string you better hope you don’t get buried in a snow drift bc you ain’t playing unless they done running up the heisman stats. Tennessee or any Lincoln Riley team you on the 3rd string you gonna be blistered to a pulp bc you ain’t putting that helmet on unless the starting qb has 5-7 td’s. Steve spurrier was the same way. No clue who Danny Weirful backup was.
The announcer said Oregon is hitting on all cylinders. I guess but we don’t really know do we. It’s not like they are playing the Indiana Hoosiers now is it. (That’s funny to me) and I just watched The JMU punter wait until his own player was in front of him to try and kick the ball bt his cheeks.
