Brother zona he’s just a butt hurt Troll nothing more. He has No loyalty as he dropped His team which was GT. And said very clearly he could Never root for Georgia. So Why does he come here ? To spew a bunch of data and history salad to Try ( and fail) to bash on our Dawgs in particular Gunner.

He’s just a bitter person that’s So bored he figures to come here and Stir The Pot. Guess he’ll really be sick when he see’s Kirby and Gunner and All our Dawgs holding up and kissing the Ntl. Title Trophy, Again.

He’s sort of like that fly that won’t go away when you’re outside eating some great grilled food. Wish he’d go back to his pile of manure and enjoy himself. Thing I can’t figure is Why he doesn’t spend his time Trolling the team he Used to be a fan of ? That would make much more sense. All of his trolling is not gonna stop our Dawgs, Kirby, and Gunner from being Winners !! Go Dawgs !!

@BigDawg61 The Guy is a “ former” GT fan by his own admission on another thread. Said he stopped being a fan of them because they didn’t win consistently. Said he could Never root for Georgia. So ask yourself Why is he here ? He’s a TROLL. Up to you but I wouldn’t take him serious and give him any time, that’s what he wants is for Dawgs fans to feed him. He takes shots at our Dawgs in particular Gunner. Just a butt hurt Troll with no sense of loyalty to boot. Not worth expending the energy to answer his stat and history salad !! Go Dawgs !!

I have no issues with trolls @navydawg mi compadre, as long as they are respectful and not into personal insults. @randomsportsfan ,whether a closet GT fan or not, fits into this category. His (or her) opinions and takes are well thought out, right or wrong, and to my knowledge he has been cordial and respectful to other bloggers on this site. So I say thank you random for spicing up the conversations on this thread. Could get quite boring if we all waved our pompoms in unison…cheers mate. Go dawgs

You Know I respect your takes or should know. No he hasn’t took any shots at We the fans. But what about the shots he’s took at Gunner ? At our team ? And what part of DAWG nation does he not understand ? He’s not happy so he doesn’t want We Dawgs fans to be happy either.

I say this with No sarcasm toward you at all as I view you as a friend. But if you want to entertain this guy’s snarky attitude about our Dawgs in particular Gunner that’s OK. But I’m not, in my view he’s a Kill Joy Troll nothing more. If God Forbid we lose he’ll surely be here to rub in the salt. In my view there’s plenty of decent objectivity and constructive criticism among Our Own without this Troll.

So to close I have Allot of respect for you and view you as a friend. If you want to entertain his comments I’m not gonna look at you with any malice as I Know you Love the Dawgs. And Your comments are always reasonable.

But a friendly warning Trolls are like Gremlins the more you feed Em the more they show up !! 🤣 Best wishes to you and family for a Happy and Great New Year !! I wish ALL our fellow Dawgs fans the same !! Now where did I lay my red & black sunglasses ??

@navydawg It’s a fine line between snarky antagonism and constructive criticism, don’t you know. His takes are generally the latter. I don’t find it offensive that he thinks Gunner doesn’t have a NFL cannon, neither did Tebow, but they are both equally consummate leaders, I’m good with that. The last two years we saw what a NFL arm with zero leadership qualities got us. In any event same to you compadre, a great and happy new year to you and yours. I think I’ll head out to Ollie’s and see if I can find a good deal on some expired troll food for our buddy @randomsportsfan…good stuff cheap…lol, cheers ol boi.

I gotta say....I haven't seen any evidence that he "doesn't have an NFL arm"......Yet.

I remember some similar statements about Bennett that were exaggerated. He's still in the NFL as a quarterback.

Like Bobo said....Stockton hasn't touched the ceiling yet. Give it time. These kids are in college, still learning and growing.

Imo....The Stockton we saw during the season won't be the same Stockton that plays in the CFP. It's a different game, now....with higher stakes. I expect he's gonna dazzle a few fans....in the Semi Finals.

I expect Kieby will try to turn the Ole Miss game, into a defensive battle. Not much scoring. Save that, for OSU or Miami. Lol

@Gramster Hey Brother is Extremely important to me that you understand I don’t Hate the guy. I don’t hate anyone. I just don’t partially appreciate or like him. I’ve been loving the Dawgs since I was a small child now working on being 69 Lord willing in May. I guess I might love them to much. And I love and respect Gunner So much. You remember when there was a few folks here saying James Cook would never make it in the NFL ? He’s just one example. This so called “random” guy who spends Allot of time here goes through all this stats, data, and history to tell us how much he thinks our team is sub par to other teams and how our QB will never even sniff the NFL. Coach Bobo who works with Gunner tons and tons clearly stated he’s no where near his ceiling. Gunner has some stats in HS that are better than Trevor Lawrence !! In fact Unless they were broken This year he has stats that are the state record.

Now some will talk about him “ being in the system” for so long. But that is Not a substitute for Real Game experience the majority of which he got This year as the starter. So Who can say and be honest what he will do next year ? None of us know. But with This year’s real game experience one would think he’d progress. Based on what Bobo said if he’s this good now imagine what he’ll be like when he Does get closer to his ceiling !! Go Dawgs !!

If you have a problem with "a small segment" of people here maybe you should tell them why their takes are "ridiculous"?

What struck a nerve for me was someone casting aspersions on "a small segment of people here" who don't have the argument to tell us all why these takes are "ridiculous". Tell us why if you can or don't say anything.

EVERYTHING I said in the post was true. You may not agree with it but there was no "purpose" to it other than to state the obvious about CYoung, NThomas and the UGA offense.

So please tell me where my comments were wrong.

Not sure how people take from what I wrote that CYoung is not a good player who won't help UGA if he is available. I said he will have a role. Not sure if people here actually READ these comments.

@GoodOlDawg See "Not sure…" sentence above.

@Eastmandawg "Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith". Really? You are going to compare two of the most dominant and productive players in CFB history to a WR who has 34 catches and 3 TD's in 12 games at UGA? BTW both Emmitt and Jerry were faster than CYoung.

@87Dawg_11 The Beck haters want to blame Beck for the INT vs AL. Go back and watch the play. Beck threw the back shoulder fade to the front corner of the endzone. CYoung did not make any move to catch or defend the pass. Beck did what he was supposed to do. CYoung didn't. "Best WR on the team" as a short yardage, possession WR? Probably. Best blocking WR? Probably. Overall? No, sorry. Could it be that CYoung had all those targets because CKS and CMB don't let GS throw the ball down the field and mostly only let him throw the safest routes? Like to a big WR w/in 10 yards of the LOS? GS as only had 13% of his pass attempts go 20 yards past the LOS.

@Gramster Read above. CERTAINLY the throw was better than the "effort" to catch the throw. CYoung will not run a 4.6. CYoung will not run a 4.69. 4.8something seems about right. CFB WR's that are big and run slow bulk up to play receiving TE or H back. I could see CYoung having a nondescript NFL career as a back up receiving TE or H back.

@BigDawg61 Did somebody highjack your account? New meds? That might be the most cogent and salient post you have ever made here! Figured you would gravitate to a "high" point comment. Not sure CYoung has an abundant amount of agility and ball skills but he does bring size and positioning to the position.

@UGADad20 "Glad to have him available but don't see this as an upgrade." This comment may have been misunderstood. The offense IS upgraded w/CYoung available. As I said he plays a role and is probably the best WR AT HIS ROLE on the team. The implication was that he was not an upgrade over NThomas as far as making the offense more explosive and stretching the field. CKS has said that the UGA needs "more explosives". When NThomas is on the field big plays are more probable from the passing game. When the situation is 3rd and medium or when UGA wants 7 on 1st down with a pass, CYoung is the man.

@zonadawg61 "Yawn. I read none of your rant. You must have a ton of time on your hands. Spend it with family. Happy New Year to you and yours. As for me 2026 awaits. GO DAWGS!"

You should have read. Wasn't a rant at all. A lot of good information. Logical with statistics. Not a single vague, some people like to come here and stir the pot type comment.

@randomsportsfan Most of what you said below in your Post 92 seemed pretty spot on. I did take exception with a couple of things.

"And it isn't because the (UGA) WRs can't or don't get open on those intermediate or deep routes. They do." Aren't you the guy that repeatedly gets on the soapbox about the lack of quality and inability of the UGA WR's to get separation/ get open? Can't have it both ways.

Really struggled with this one. "and is a better runner" referring to GS vs SBIV comparison. Not sure that is true but not sure that isn't true. Runner as in powerful RB running? I guess. Runner as in QB pocket escape ability, pocket mobility and ability to break longer runs? Not sure about that one.

While CY hasn’t made it to a combine for official times, pretty sure I read where Colbie was clocked at 4.62 at the pro day in Athens this past season. I agree that CY probably won’t bea major impact player at the next level but he certainly was becoming one at this level before the latest injury. His route running was so improved over previous years, and his down field blocking was excellent. The Beck throw last year was horrible…admit it.
