Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

NEW ORLEANS â Georgia isnât the easiest team to prepare for, but Ole Miss assistant coach Joe Judge says thereâs even more to it than that.

All this sunshine pumping rat poison from an upcoming opponent, imagine that. On a side note I look forward to @randomsportsfan giving his war and peace thesis on what Gunner isn’t a football version of LeBron and how Carson “It’s all about me” Beck is…the floor is yours, random. Thrill us…
Indeed…"sunshine pumping rat poison"…..deadlier than a hangover plate of beignets & chicory coffee from and OFF Canal st blues bar….BUT ALAS, Our Dawgs arrive in Nolins ravenous, huntin and hungry for Red & Blue Ole Miss Meat seasoned with a heaping helping of Caribbean sounding Ferris St QB…..Trinidad Shambels……Gunner/Lebron…..no way but rather a Jordan or a Russell or how bout a Magic Johnson…..I'm wishing Carson "Lambo Lame-o" Beck the best but I'm thinkin it'll be another multi INT day as the high Bucknut pressure deflates the Canes.
Thick thick smoke!
Ha! Made my morning... appreciate the "preemptive strike" @Gramster !
La Bron James? I just spit up my coffee! Somewhere thousands of UGA fans did the same.
Labron James diisrespectintg the National Anthem https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/nba/article-15419445/lebron-james-lakers-national-anthem-disrespect.html
“That’s what Gunner is, he’s a football player that makes the right football plays,” Brown said. “I’m a basketball junkie as well, and you think about LeBron James……."
I'm glad someone else noticed this similarity as well. Gunner has solid fundamentals on the court, he squares-up nicely to the basket on the jump shots and his free throw percentage has gone up dramatically from last year. He was flagrantly fouled in last years SECCG against Texas and gave us all a scare, but he's still willing to go aggressively to the basket. LeBron has shown a noticeable improvement as he works through his progressions, and his footwork and ball protection is really coming along. At 6'9" he has a great view of the field for those crossing routes and can dive for the first down marker from about 6 yards away!
I completely agree. As far as comparing character, Gunner is in another universe compared to that overblown egomaniac basketball player. Go Dawgs! Beat ole miss!
LOL…post of the day winner, trophy on order!
Gunner is a humble, tough, hard working North Georgia farm kid that any coach or team would love to have in their locker room and James is a, well you fill in the blank. Yeah, the similarities are stunning…GMAFB.
