But Chambliss might have taken things to bulletin board extremes when discussing the Rebels’ upcoming College Football Playoff Sugar Bowl quarterfinal against Georgia at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans.

I always felt like TJ Dottery gave a little more juice when he said that they were "hoping" Georgia would be in their bracket when they watched the CFP reveal (re: post game interview following win vs Tulane). Any player is going to have confidence before a game with an opponent regardless of who it is, but to say you hoped to play Georgia was another level. With that all said, I wouldn't expect anything less. This is all "been there done that" material for the Dawgs, and I'm sure they will take it all in stride.

Have these Ole Miss Rebels not seen the outcome of teams that play Georgia twice in the same year? It doesn't go well for them. I believe Kirby is undefeated. See Bama in the SECCG. Alright, Chambliss we see you. Game on!

Well said !! No they’re not gonna get a sack every time or even every other time but just as you stated and I fully agree, pressure him enough to throw off his timing. And as you stated that usually leads to incompletions and/or INTs.

I’m sure he will give better effort and he will probably have some success. But this is Not the same level of quality Dawgs he and his team will be facing. The Dawgs have improved on both sides of the ball since the last meeting in particular the Dawgs defense.

Another thing is Chambliss has never played in the SECCG less alone the playoffs, neither have most of if not all his teammates. Gunner and many of the Dawgs have, so it will probably be a bit of a culture shock to Ole Miss. I expect our Dawgs to be a bit rusty but I expect the rust to fall off pretty quick.

So in the initial moments of the game it’ll be Culture Shock (Ole Miss) vs. (A bit of rust ) Dawgs. I expect the two teams to be about even until the start of the second qtr. then the Dawgs will settle in and the game will start slipping away from Ole Miss. Don’t know the final score but Dawgs win by At Least 10 points. Go Dawgs !!

I agree that UGA is more experienced and will win by double digits but please give Ole Miss and Chambliss credit for beating a good Tulane team in the playoffs a couple of weeks ago. A lot of people bash Tulane for making the playoffs playoff but the Green Wave beat a winning Big 10 team and ACC champions Duke this year. They are better than the SMU team who made the playoff from the ACC last year by beating absolutely nobody ranked. I know, not the equal of playing Bama or Texas in the SECCG or ND in the playoff like Stockton and UGA. But Tulane is as good as several teams that have made the playoff in the past that other teams have claimed victories over. I believe that Penn State beat SMU and Boise last year to get to the semifinals.

Chambliss is a good QB but his college career will end in a couple of days against UGA. He is one of the guys that I am hoping that the Raiders draft to throw to Brock Bowers.

Penn St last year. And this year’s “golden ticket to the semifinals” winner is another B1G contender (insert shocked face here), the Oregon Ducks. JMU and TT? Can’t ask for better seeding than that…
