Like to see Ogboko grow more in the interior of that D line. Typical for a freshman, he was hot and cold last year, but I have high hopes. I hope he hits the weight room hard, as he has potential.

At this point and even much earlier, KPS and company know exactly the plans of every player and have counseled each, especially those who want to return and those who choose to enter the TP and declare for the NFL draft….the most important returnee is Drew Bobo followed by The Three Amigos in the RB room….Frazier, Bowen and Peanut followed by Gunner….who, as a "Bobo Work In Progress" will emerge as a 1st round DP at the end of the 26 season.

I think we have two more portal days so I hope that we add some meat to the O and D line if only for one year of eligibility. We have a lot of young guys who give us hope if properly developed. Should I assume that current coaches are staying put?

Very little print… we really need Jordan Hall back to anchor the D-Line, provide team leadership, and become a Round 1 pick. Go Dawgs!

The writer has NO clue in what he is talking about - he sees a piece and just thinks it will fit. On the bright side, thinks he would make a better coach than writer -maybe he should just send his resume to UGA, guessing there would be a pay increase.

Hayul, feed "Peanut" a steady diet all off season of McDonald's burgers & fries and I would think he would think he would have a better chance at LT than Gaston…or maybe go to the wishbone next season and move him to QB, he would be hayul to bring down…Anything is possible, right?

He will stay on the right side, great run blocker but really had a tough time with pass blocking last season…he just doesn't have the athleticism, some things you are just born with and are not teachable.

For a freshman, Gaston had a pretty dang good season, but moving him to LT will get Gunner killed DADE 4 SURE. He or anyone else can only take so many hits.

I like Gaston, he has a nasty streak which is uncommon for OL's, players that are willing to work can improve a lot between year one and year two, time will tell.

Agree. I liked Bo Hughley way better than Gaston and was disappointed at him leaving. At 300 lbs, BH could actually slide and move at RT when playing with Glover on that side early in the season. But given Searles' fixation on 330+ pounders, it seemed like BH was always going to be Searles' last option - despite what you could see with your own eyes.

Move Gaston inside to guard. That would help limit (I think) the quickness issue, which IMHO is a big issue.

Gaston's downhill blocking is pretty good with him able to mow down defenders at the second level. The problem with him that I see is his lateral movement in the passing game. Have to agree with @Eastmandawg, leave him where he's at.

Once again Connor didn’t complete his homework assignment, as he completely forgot Q. Johnson at DE, who will most certainly be an experienced playmaker in 2026 and be part of the rotation with Harris and Williams!
