Beaver originally signed with Oregon but entered the transfer portal after the Ducks added Dylan Raiola, a one-time Georgia commitment, via the transfer portal. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore announced on Wednesday that he would be returning to school for another season.

so if I’m a QB who has been at Georgia a few years and put the blood and sweat into the team..where does that leave me with a new QB coming in? These kids are not going to sit on the bench forever. Why hasn’t KS went and got some lineman to block?

Sure wish we’d see at least one O Lineman and one D Lineman signed late. That we’re not yet aware of !! If they are at least pretty decent I’ll take Em !!
Beavers is a freshman. Class of '26. Signed with OR but entered the TP after Raiola transferred to OR. So we can all thank Raiola for this QB.
He is put in queue behind everyone else who has been here. Based on his film he doesn't look to be an immediate threat to GS, RP or RM.
WOW……great HS QB…..got the downfield touch, the sidearm sling and looks like he's got the escape the rush pressure Trinidad Chambliss Shuffle down pat…..if we don't get some O-Line depth, all that will come in handy! ……..somethings just not right when The Dawgs can steal a Beaver from The Oregon Ducks…..just sayin

Thats 6 quarterbacks, ALL (except Gunner) have 4 years eligibility. WHY?!
Ga actually has six. Ginn runs the scout team and does great in that role. So now with the nrs at 6 do 5 and 6 run the scout team. 1 and 2 whoever they may be get the snaps and 3 and 4 just hang on? Interesting and may not be as complicated as it seems but I bet there are some unhappy guys even if they don't express it.
He is a true freshman who left Oregon after they brought in Dyla Raiola. Georgia didn’t sign a quarterback in this class, so this fills a gap.

Yes. He is part of the 26 class. Signed last month to Oregon but already in the portal.

I'm usually pretty optimistic, but for some reason am completely underwhelmed by the net outcome of the "portal season" for the University of Georgia. Maybe I'm still hung over from our squandered opportunity embarrassment in the playoffs, but I'm having a hard time seeing how we're now better, while watching our competitors land some big-time players. Reckon time will tell, and maybe heal my headache. Go Dawgs!
