    16-3 record….4-2 in the SEC….!

    it’s been a while!

These Dawgs are fun and exciting to watch!

    Love it!

It's taking some getting used to… Pace over Everything else (few actual plays), split-second decision making (including dumb ones due to said pace), and rolling the entire roster to keep players fresh. But wins are the name of the game, and I could easily get used to that. Keep chopping boys! Go Dawgs!

Is there a worse defensive player than Blue Cain? MIZ torched him in the last few minutes to make this game closer than it should have been, what is with the flat footed guarding technique of his? Kudos to CMW for taking him out on the last 2 possessions by MIZ, refreshing to see that on occasion he can actually adjust…nice road win.

@Gramster He defended the final shot against Missouri in regulation without fouling. Cain has improved on defense this season, from what I've seen.

You could be right, I would never ever call you incorrect @MikeGriffith but unfortunately I must this one instance as even the video embedded in this article revealing the last few exciting moments of the game clearly shows it is #3 guarding Crews with #4 right near him. NO #0 any where on the court…I wish I could be as optimistic as you regarding Cain's improvement on defense but forever the pessimist…Cain was pulled by CMW after the Millender bucket and made free throw, finally a quality coaching decision. Get your best defenders on the court for the final defensive stand…such a novel concept yes?

Ironically the video does show he of flat footed defensive style elegance chasing behind Crews as the MIZ sharp shooter drains that last 3 pointer to give MIZ the lead. The final 7 point MIZ run all came against Cain on defense, if your scoring at home…trust me on this MIke.

@Gramster Fair enough, but I have been impressed with Cain's overall play this season.

Yes, actually it's been two years since they started 4-2 in the SEC…and were14-5 overall. The one glaring difference this time, UGa has only played 1 ranked team this year so far, although FU and Clemgoob are now ranked teams. I do love your attitude and enthusiasm, I would love to eat some of that optimism crow myself but my pessimism in Mike White being anything other than just an average coach is quite entrenched. Deep down inside I am silently screaming Go Dawgs for what it's worth.

And for what it's worth, Cain has never hesitated to put his body on the line, whether it's diving for a loose ball, going hard to the basket, etc. Then bounces back up, no rolling and limping around. So in that regard, he's a role model and culture carrier in toughness and scrappiness, which I believe we want and need as part of this team's identity. Go Dawgs!

Florida & Auburn both went into CoMo & walked out with L’s….this was a gritty win by a resilient team. And give MW credit for drawing up 2 nice baseline out of bounds plays as well. As far as Blue I’m a big fan but have wondered what’s going on with him at times this season. MW pulled him vs Ole Miss bc he just wasn’t giving effort on D & then last night it was like he was asleep at the wheel on the defensive end. Which doesnt add up bc he’s a high IQ player who can play excellent defense…he shut down Tre Johnson(sec scoring leader and 6th overall pick in draft) for Texas last season Possibly he has a nagging injury???
