Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Not excusing their bad decision but out of curiosity what is a patrol doing stationed running radar at 910PM?
Too much time, too much money, not a good combo for 21 year old males.
My guess is its no different than a DUI checkpoint being set up at 12am. Same as driving drunk, speeding on the highways doesnt just happen during daylight hours.
tThe culture keeps on going. Question: when do they start getting their pay checks deducted for missed time?
Too young, too much money and too ****. Did their lawyers write those statements? I doubt they did.
thankfully they are patrolling Athens streets to protect the public from being killed by irresponsible drivers. I can’t imagine the difficulty coaches have trying to teach and manage young men like these Einsteins. Look at me, look at me - I have arrived and got the Mercedes to prove it!
Can you imagine the questions that would have been asked 10 years ago with 2 players racing new Mercedes? And to think Todd Gurley was suspended for selling his jersey…..good grief!!! Dang I miss the days when players raced old Ford and Chevy pick-up trucks 😉. Go Dawgs!!!
No excuse what so ever for racing and endangering innocent lives. They may starters, but they need the book thrown at them!
Sounds like Connor Riley would be better suited for a job at the National Enquirer, or The Globe. He certainly has no loyalty to UGA or its football program or its young men. Wonder if Connor ever got a speeding ticket or drank alcohol underage. Nah…. He and his teammates on the chess team didnt drink a drop…
Let's just throw the book at you instead, Dudley…
Wow, the third or fourth article with clips of the same info about two guys speeding leading to reckless driving charges. Can't wait for the next dozen times this is mentioned when their names come up.
Seems like some here are questioning both the arrest of these two immature men and the publication of the incident. Guess they haven't lost a friend or loved one to a reckless or drunk driver. Good for them.
as a retired State Trooper both could have been charged with racing. The driver of the white Mercedes probably can get the charges dropped with a good lawyer since the officer never go a reading on his speed even though he was behind the black Mercedes.
my thoughts exactly. Times have changed
Dang...looks like Judgement Day in Athens over a couple of Super Speeders. Lolol.…I haven't seen this many comments about the Dawgs in a while.
Oh well...Even bad press is good press, in show business. Lol...at least that's what they say. His NIL Value, probably just went up a few bucks. Name recognition and hype, is the name of the game, now.
Go Dawgs! Keep doing it the right way. There's honor in that....as well as consistency.
