ATHENS â Georgia won a national championship with Stacy Searels as the teamâs offensive line coach. He turned multiple offensive linemen into NFL draft picks, with Monroe Freeling likely to be a first-rounder in next yearâs NFL draft.

Searels did win a national championship, BUT it was with players Matt Luke recruited and Todd Monken was still running the offense. Since those two coaches left, Georgia hasn't even won a playoff game. Hopefully the O line will be the strongest it's been since Pittman and Luke were the O line coaches. Go Dawgs!
sound promising and if we get a little better pass rsuh we might be a more well rounded team. NC who knows?
i would say more Sam Pittman but he filled the cupboard that Matt Luke left empty.
I'm expecting a notable improvement across the entire offense— RB, QB, TE, WR— as a result of this move. Possibly even the defense, since they'll be even more dangerous when better rested. Go Dawgs!
I think the Dawgs are going to have a road grading OL in the run game, and will actually hold the pocket in pass pro better. All in all I think the Dawgs are going to be a very tough out for ANY team this time around.
Excited to see the energy Rauscher’s gonna bring this year.
Anyone that watched the Georgia highschool playoffs knew that Zykie Helton was one of the most underrated prospects in Georgia and thats the best football in the entire Country. He played defensive line and put up a stat line that you expect out of a top 10 defensive linemen against some of the best competition in the Country. I have seen 5* defensive linemen from our state disappear in the playoffs bc in the playoffs after that first round you’re going against not just better players but incredible coaching but Texas knows what they’re doing (i hope for the players sake) anyway their not all plug-n-play players even the five stars. Put Zykie Helton’s athleticism and get off and quick hands and fast feet at center and let him Eat. Just wait. He is not gonna be just a good center. He is gonna be hard to keep off the field if a starter goes down this year.
It makes me so sick to see universities from Texas (a state who thinks it created high school football) taking almost half of the top 20 Georgia players out of Georgia. Still waiting on Dallas Baptist to start a football program and hire Lane Kiffen and he can talk about how he is finally at place where he can win and take sweaty Pilates classes and how they have state of the art spray tanning booths and the best toga parties and the best cover bands.
apparently Zykie is already wowing people
There’s nothing wrong in my book for having good dreams, especially ones that might become reality. IF this O Line can pass pro enough to give Gunner two-three More ticks than last year. AND bust holes open for our RBS then Look Out !! Here our Dawgs come !! I Love the youth but NFL experience that Rauscher brings !! On the other side of the ball I’d love to see our Defense instill fear in rivals like in times past !! Go You Hairy Dawgs !!
Article mentioned Jah Jackson. Large dude….but is he mobile enough…just askin'? At 6' 10", 348 lbs., covers lot of turf, sure. OL needs big, mobile and tough. Hope he works out.
heard only positive things this spring so here’s hoping
