I wonder if he can scheme a defense to stop a 21 to 2 Billikens run…

Because today's CBB shooters are so adept at 3 pt shooting everybody plays man to man D once a team crosses half court. It is stick to your man as tight as you can and either fight the screens or switch. Defense is all effort and moving your feet. There is no "scheme" . I hope you meant that as a joke. This ain't football.

Nope. Contrary to popular belief all my teeth are not wisdom teeth. I just use my brain for more than sarcasm.

According to @Gramster "logic" UGA hung w/3 Sweet 16 teams (1 Elite 8) during the regular SEC season which "proved" UGA had the talent to play with teams of Sweet 16 caliber. Only UGA coaching caused their poor play during the season and tourney.

Hanging w/TX and AL proved to be not much of an accomplishment as they both (each w/ 1 ALL SEC player) were bounced out in the round of 16. TN advanced 1 more step. But 40% of TN's starting line up was All SEC. UGA? 0% of the UGA team was All SEC. All 3 teams (AL, TX, TN) had HC's making 20-30% more money than CMW.

So actually, by your "logic", CMW is due a raise in pay and a contract extension. His coaching his team of inferior players to competitive games with teams with more talented players and coaches making more money would be an indication of doing more with less.

If you think UGA basketball is bad now wait until you see what happens when/if your choice to replace CMW (JHayes) takes over. UGA basketball will be the same until UGA decides to improve the program through better facilities and a more competitive compensation commitment to players.

How soon some of you forget how UGA football had plateaued under CMR. UGA had limited its financial commitment to the football program. Remember? No indoor practice facility. No state of the art weight room. No upgraded player's lounge. Bigger budget for assistant coaches. To get CKS, UGA had to make all of those upgrades and more. No coincidence that UGA football took another level after more money was put into the program.

Basketball is no different. The only difference is UGA didn't short change the football program.

I’d recommend less quetiapine and more venlafaxine. Could help those mood swings. Cheers mate

Nice to see you lighten up, and touché. In the immortal words of Eeyore, the nicest thing about the rain is that it always stops…eventually.
