Yep, way too early…. All these "improvements" are hypothetical at this point. We hear every year about how the receivers room is going to be so much better. Why can't UGA recruit elite receivers, anyway? Hoping for the best in 2026, but hope is not a method.

oh my goodness that is amazing, we moved UP in the rankings without even having played a single game…I bet if we continue to move up without playing a game we’ll be a lock for another natty…

At this time of the year, I much prefer the abject dousing of hope rendered by the likes of Steve Smith, the former Carolina great.

All this way too early is just that. Will say Gunner looks like he’s been hitting the weights. His biceps seem bigger. All we as fans can ask is just keep on pushing !! Go Dawgs !!

12 and 2 ain't bad for a rebuilding year. Those young guys are a year older and much improved, including Gunner. I trust the training they're receiving is targeting more than up the middle or a screen to the left. The running backs this year, have more to offer than 4 yds. Between the TEs and wideouts (and some blocking) Gunner should provide the leadership to get it done.

The defense looks formidable with great potential. Go Dawgs!!!

Sad note (off topic). We lost a wonderful DGD yesterday morning. My best friend for fourteen years went to Heaven. He was a great dog and Dawg. Forgive my downer.

Agree with your take. I’m so sorry to hear about your furry friend. Yes it absolutely hurts when they pass on. Our dog is on up in age now and I’m dreading that day. We lost one back in 2018 that we had for fifteen years. It hurt deeply.

Wish I had the right words to offer you. Just know I understand how you feel and my heart goes out to you. Both of the one we had before and this one we have now were from the rescue pound.

You’re probably thinking right now that you’ll never have another one. But out there some where there’s a rescue dog that could sure use the love and care you obviously give. Something to think about. Best wishes to you.

If only we had a stretching machine he could work out on. 4 more inches and he'd be perfect…that's what my wife says about me. ;-)

PS Sorry about your DGD. We lost a good one this year. Like family.

Lost our 15 year old American Bulldog over a year ago, it still hurts. She was a huge Dawg fan. Think about her every day, better than family because she never talked back…dgd

@Gramster @DawgfromILM Sorry to hear about Y’all’s furry friends. The thing about dogs is they’re always willing to be with you. And accept you no matter what kind of mood you might be in. Truth is they’ll stand by you allot of times when people won’t. NO I don’t put dogs Over people but they are faithful friends indeed. Here’s a pic of our nine year old German Shepherd his name is Bowzer !!

    Go Dawgs !!

With the level of roster shuffling and transfer management this year Smart will truly be put to the test. No doubt he's a great one but to get deep in the playoff with this team would be a tremendous accomplishment.

I actually believe that the defense will be very stout right out of the gate giving the offense time to grow. Those first two gimme games at the start won't be a measuring stick, but at Arkansas I think it will show up and grow from there. It is not just Gunner, the OL has to grow, and to continue to get better in the run game as well as pass pro. Let this sink in, and Kirby knows better than anyone, first and goal against Ole Piss and can't move the ball. Unacceptable, but I think it gets fixed.
