I think you are right.
We are way better at SS this year. Albies is having a nice start I like hitting him third against Lefties. Olson is absolutely destroying balls. Baldwin is a complete hitter. Riley and Acuna will get it going at some point. Offense is solid.
Then you have Elder off to a flying start. Sale may not be as dominant as years past but he is still really good. Reynoso usually pitches well when he is healthy. Holmes can pitch. And you have guys coming back from injury. The bullpen has been lights out.
Remember when we were worried because we lost Profar? Remember that guy? We shouldn't have worried. At least so far he hasn't been missed.
Weiss is running the team well gonna be fun watching them this Summer.

What happens when Kim comes back? Dubon is hitting a ton? Perhaps he moves around the OF giving guys a day off? Does Kim sit and become the backup? I guess it is a good problem to have.
Kim will get a chance to be the regular SS. Like you said Dubon is versatile he can be used to give guys a day off. IF or OF. Much of his value is there.
And if Kim falls on his face you just go back to Dubon as everyday SS.
At least that is how I would try to play it.
Outstanding effort in Braves 9-0 rout of the Phils. Perez w/ 6 inning of shutout ball and 9 runs for the Braves who lead baseball in both runs scored and ERA. Not sure when the last team to do that was.
Early on Acuna and riley were struggling at the plate. Both seem to have heated up and are hitting more like expected. Even Michael Harris is banging the ball lately. When hitting, the Braves have a pretty potent lineup, certainly potent enough for a team leading the majors in ERA.
Feels good to beat the Phils in their home. Kind of like beating TN up in Knoxville!
I'm really enjoying watching this group of guys play, hopefully this hot streak continues for a while.
hopefully this hot streak continues for a while.
Agree. Maybe for another 142 games?
How about those amazing Mets. 10 losses in a row. Another loss and I will have to take off a shoe to keep up.
Love to hear you going barefoot the rest of the season!!
Bravos w/ another series win - 3-1 over the Phils. Sale pitched 7 innings of 1-run, 5 hit ball. Every Brave had a hit or got on base except for Mateo at SS. Gotta love timely hitting and good pitching.
Maybe a sweep tomorrow?
Would be nice.
14 and 7 start and you have a 5 game lead in the NL East 3 weeks into the season?
Best start possible.
It wont stay this good. While it's good get greedy.
The Atlanta Braves are currently infirst placein the National League East for the 2026 season. As of April 19, 2026, they hold a14–7 recordand a commanding five-game lead over their closest division rivals.DraftKings +32026 NL East StandingsTeam

THE ATLANTA BRAVES ARE THE BEAST IN THE EAST!!!!
GO BRAVES!!!
Those amazing Mets now 11 losses in a row, had to remove a shoe.
I hope you get the opportunity to keep your streak alive!!
Series sweep and a 5-game winning streak. Sure feels nice to do it to the Phils. They are soon to be healthy and more of a threat.
Michael Harris has warmed up to .290 BA which is pretty good for the ninth hitter in a lineup. Good to have him on base for Ronald.
Still, the main story is leading the majors in ERA (2.66) and runs scored (122). Hard to lose when you don't give up many runs and score a bunch.
He even earned a walk! Harris is back!
