âBe safe tonight. And be smart,â Smart told DJ Shockley on the broadcast following the game. âBe your brotherâs keeper and take care of each other.â

Shame on you to whose to said he’s drunk. His “crimes” were 1) he smirked and 2) he didn’t move far enough. Apparently police resources and our taxes are best used to protect police ego 🤷🏻♂️
“A male, later identified as Zacharia Branch, continued to stand on the sidewalk without making an attempt to move. I continued to give Zacharia Branch verbal commands to move from blocking the sidewalk and advised that if he did not, he would receive a citation for blocking the sidewalk. Zacharia Branch smirked, then stepped backwards and to the right, then remained standing upon the public sidewalk, so as to obstruct, hinder, and impede free passage upon the sidewalk as well as impede free ingress/egress to or from the adjacent places of business. Due to those actions and Zacharia Branch’s failure to comply with multiple verbal lawful commands, he was placed under arrest for misdemeanor Obstruction of LEO and received a citation for Obstructing Public Sidewalks.”

good!!!! Saves Kirby or having to make a tough decision!!!!!!!
Lol
Sounds like "Barney Fife" may have been a tad overzealous in this case. Sounds like Branch got arrested for possibly rolling his eyes and smirking!
So he was doing something wrong, correct?
Thanks for posting the details. Glad to know that I was 100% right!! None of this should be a surprise to a Bulldogs fans with any longevity.
Dude was signing autographs for fans all afternoon in Sanford and helping with recruiting. Obstructing the sidewalk?? He’s 5’10” and 180lbs soaking wet. Probably just there talking to fans and got arrested for smirking and didn’t move far enough. Shame on ACCPD.
NFL Network has obtained the police report on the misdemeanor charges against Zachariah Branch, who was arrested while standing on a public sidewalk for not moving far enough when a police officer asked him to move:“A male, later identified as Zacharia Branch, continued to stand on the sidewalk without making an attempt to move. I continued to give Zacharia Branch verbal commands to move from blocking the sidewalk and advised that if he did not, he would receive a citation for blocking the sidewalk. get lost
I am all about respecting LEOs.
That being said, the oddest and perhaps most telling piece of this is putting "he smirked" In the report. He moved, maybe not quite enough, but that dang smirk cannot be tolerated. On the surface it makes it seem like the LEO got a bruised ego. Is there any other reason to add that tidbit?
Exactly who was he obstructing from using the sidewalk at 130AM? The real charge, 'smirking while black', was not available at the time.
"Standing while black." What a monster!
I’m sorry but, regardless of whether you like it or not, when a police officer tells you to move, you move. Argue the “violation of rights” later. And how dare you call a Law Enforcement Officer “Barney Fife” when you have no insight into their reasoning.
And good grief, stop copy/pasting your comments over and over and over. You just look silly.
Im waiting on another secret code tweet from Amaris on this. He'll tell em.
