UGA, Georgia Tech baseball coaches disagree on value of neutral site game

Truist Park does play very similarly to Charles Schwab Field, host of the CWS in Omaha, Neb. Itâs 335 feet to the left-field wall and 375 feet to the power alleys in both parks. Truist Parkâs right-field wall is 10 feet closer to home plate, and its distance to the center-field wall is eight feet shorter.

wholeheartedly agree with this statement. Not opposed to an article in this game, but would like more regular coverage of the baseball team.
Tough loss and definitely shows a potential weakness for the DAWGS - too much reliance on the homer. Need more clutch hitting to go far in the CWS. Still, a strong season and now on to Ole Miss.

Having followed the Diamond Dogs for several years, they are built for homeruns. I have always said that stops when going against elite pitchers in the post season. They lost early last year due to the inability to manufacture runs. Being in a large ballpark negates the long ball. Hoping we do better this year!
