Zachariah Branch spent just one season in Athens but it paid off tremendously for the wide receiver, as the Atlanta Falcons took him with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

This excites me as a lifetime fan of the Falcons like many of us have been. I feel like UGA was shorted a year of what Branch could have done. I’ll definitely be paying more attention to their games this year. At least they’re slowly starting to see the value in our guys!
Did i read that correctly? The Falcons have picked a Bulldog 3 straight years in the 1st round? Atlanta didn't get ther 1st pick this year until #48, the 2nd round, and their 1st pick was not a Georgia Bulldog. Branch was taken with the #79 pick..the 3rd round.
