I see what CKS is doing. Trying to preserve his vision of CFB with an emphasis on team building and , dare I say, character (though all the arrests suggest otherwise). His approach to NIL and the TP emphasizes paying older players over freshman with NIL and being selective in the TP instead of bringing in new vet players to compete with guys already in the program.

This season (and especially next season '27) will be the year(s) to prove whether the Alabama model is still not obsolete. UGA has a stockpile of 5*'s on D, an OL full of talented behemoths and a veteran QB. Add in multiple 5(ish)* skill players on O and all the necessary ingredients are in place.

Next year will be the first year without stacked 5 stars. Then the next after that will really tell if the old model will work. Super crossed-fingers that it works and we do not go back to the 8-4 years.

The incompetence of the officials on the Auburn goal line play is staggering. After the seemingly endless review process, one thing was clear: either Auburn or Georgia scored a touchdown on that play. How they missed that is hard to accept.
