Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I agree and know your pain. Wife and I have season tickets for coming up 32 years. Tailgating has become super expensive and not to mention the 12 hour day of the experiance. Kirby wll not win with "developed" 3 stars and I say again as I have posted before, one trip to the Weed Eater Bowl will change the fan base.
Time will tell. Every year is different as should be the recruiting plan. Everything has to be factored. We have a tremendous number of returning players. Something to be said for that and how it impacts the recruiting plan for this year and next year.
I trust Kirby and his roster management, budget, etc and I expect him to be more aggressive on some top players next cycle. Don't have to spend it all in one cycle, save up, especially when you are retaining far more players on your roster than most any other school.
Don't have to spend it just because you have it. Go after who you want with the big bucks and if you lose those players, why spend it on who isn't you're type of player and who might leave? Seems like a sound philosophy.
All these players UGA is losing, some might end up here in the end. Or regret they didn't. Kirby wants those that want to be pushed and work like they never have. Like it or not, a lot of these guys choose the easier path and well, better they didn't waste anyone's time and money and choose another school. Better in the end, which is what counts more than the splashy headlines of who is going to what college, when they are still in high school.
Rare Breed. That is who we want. That will also stay the course. Do not forget that.
The operative word is "committed"😂
"…25 of the state’s 28 highest-ranked recruits are already committed…"
