    I wouldn’t call 5 hits “cruising”. Granted, we had more than them (1) and just like Moneyball, it’s all about getting on base, regardless of how, but I’d sure like more hits in the next outing.

    well the Texas pitcher is really good so that might have something to do with it

    Hits!!??? What about that great pitching performance. Volcano....i mean Volchko, had the pitching performance of a lifetime.

    That should be lauded....more than the fact that Texas had a pitcher, too. And, the Dawgs along with everybody else in the league had a hard time hitting the guy with his 7'+ release point. Crazy mechanics. Lol

    The bat's are still alive...don't worry about that. They had some pretty good cuts against him...but, dang. I don't know what else they could've done.

    Other than maybe...bunt once and awhile. Lol
