Will at 2.8m or Glen at 2.4, It’s not rocket science, I know which one I would have signed.

Will was tired of being in Kirby's shadow and his boy is done at Vandy. Will loved Texas and can get paid more there because they have unlimited money at Texas. Happy for Will but we will beat them again in the SECCG if they make it. I have Texas losing 3 or 4 this year. Their schedule is absolutely brutal.

Got to look out for his good OL boy buddy. No wonder KS doesn’t spend NIL , spends it on his good OL boys

Some will be happy and some sad over this. Personally not in favor of long and/or repetitious contracts. Did their stats show the demand for extension?

Glad to see this to keep continuity, especially Schumann as he is a possible head coach in the making.

Will wants to be in line because Sark will jump to the NFL . Hey at least it’s not Chaney and Martinez .

Schumann earned it because of the defensive improvements last season. Bobo overall did better, but questionable offensive calls continue to plague him. The calls near the end of the ole miss loss, the 4th down call vs bama at home, the head scratching offensive performance vs tech keep the ridicule coming towards him. Bobo wouldn’t be earning that kind of money anywhere else. He proved he can’t succeed without Richt or Kirby.
    Go Dawgs!

Neither could win one playoff game. That deserves an extension? Polish payroll?

I heard fruit baskets were sent to their agents to help ensure these deals got finalized to protect them for the upcoming 2027 down season.

Both coaches have a lot to prove this season. Bobo has got no excuses if he can't improve Gunner and the offense with the best overall group we've had in years (however, still not as good as the offensive firepower in '21-'22). I still think Schumann is one of the best defensive coaches around, and he's got an excellent group to work with this season.

Will the Dawgs put it together to make a run for the Natty with the best overall team they have had in years…or will we stub our toe in the playoffs again and come up short???

The UGA football coaching staff has turned into a Kirby Good Ole Boy Friends and Family Program. Very sad…. These are the leftovers…Why give them a raise? Nobody else would ever hire either of them…

This might mean that Smart intends to retire after the 2028 season…

“Georgia opens the season on Sept. 5, when the Bulldogs take on Tennessee State.”

Is there any way to arrange to play Tennessee State in the opening round of the CFP? LOL

These guys should be on year to year contracts. Nobody is coming for Bobo and the shine on Schumann has long been tarnished. As for his recruiting prowness, # 16 class? And what is recruiting now, mainly negotiating with the recruit's agent. What was the premier recruiting apparatus for the past 10 years is now mostly irrelevant . A good part of the budget should now be focussed on scouting teams and evaluating players for specific talents and poach. Until either a cap are put on team salaries or the Dogs entice some multi-billionare I believe the program will suffer.
