Yes, I do, my wife goes to her job 2days a week I take her to work and hang out at Starbucks sketch and write stories and check out DawgNation till 5 o'clock. She then works the rest of her week Wednesday through Friday at home. I am her chauffeur, chef and whatever else she needs me to be. 😎
Nope. I quit that work stuff in 2014, I live just living a lot more. Gives me more time on this forum too. Plus, me and my fiddle hang out a good bit.

What do you sketch? I do charcoal drawings, mostly abstract.
I sketch whatever comes to mind or when inspired, I am too messy for charcoal. I use pencil mostly some G-2 07 and 10 black ink pens. Lately for the last 4 years I have been I using G-2-colored pens to draw over the Starbucks cup sleeve faces for the last 4 years, I have over a hundred so far. Overall, I am not really that good an artist. I still enjoy it. 😎

Outstanding! Is it possible for an old dawg to learn fiddle? No music experience at all. If so, any tips on beginning?
It is the most technical musical thing I have ever done. I had played 6 other instruments at one time or another. This was from a different world. I would suggest finding a good instructor who has experience teaching adults. This is so you can get the basics down pat. There is a ton of good stuff on YouTube, but if you don't get the basics down you won't sound as good.
Another thing I would give as a tip is to have patience. The journey for most adult learners is slow, at times painfully slow. It is for me. Follow CKS mantra - be where your feet are. Do the simple things daily, consistency is key. A little bit every day will go a long way.
I have a wonderful teacher. Used to play with the Jacksonville Symphony. When we first started I told her I wanted to be able to improvise so I could play with my friends. I told her I would love to be able to play The Devil Went Down To Georgia and she looked at me kind of funny. That might take a while she said, maybe quite a while. So I am ready now, 3 years into this thing to start learning that.
Another thing she told me is even the very best in the world are constantly trying to improve. The legendary cellist, Pablo Casals, was asked by a student why, at 92 years of age he was still practicing 4-5 hours a day. He said, simply, "I think I am improving", So don't be unrealistic about your learning/playing. It's a lifetime gig. Hopefully you enjoy learning and seeing improvement.
Trust the process and be willing to "eat off the floor" for a while.'

A 2 sentence paragraph -
He once again championed offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. The Georgia coach detailed a recent whitewater rafting trip where quarterback Gunner Stockton voluntarily threw himself into a leadership position.
Something seemed strange to me about that. Either that kid needs help with his writing or I do for being so critical. Or we both do.
I'm sure you're better than you're giving yourself credit for, as artists tend to be their own worst critics. If I do 10 drawings, my goal is to create one that I think is good.
Charcoal is a tough medium to work in, which is why I like it so much. Eventually, I'll go back to oil painting, but for now I'm having fun in the minimalist color world. Keep going and having fun, that's what it's all about.
