Here’s which Georgia Bulldogs made the 2026 Preseason All-SEC teams
Georgia was well represented on the Preseason All-SEC teams, as voted on by the media at this year’s SEC media days.
Comments
Elijah Griffin being underrated imo.
the media putting a lot of weight on the Ole Miss players. They did their jobs last year, beat us in the CFP, but they were running Lane’s concepts. Let’s see how they adjust to the new schemes.
No Chris Cole? That's a big miss.
All five stars. That's our media for you.
Hard to imagine neither Chris Cole nor Justin Williams aren't among the top 9 linebackers in the SEC?! For that matter, Peyton Woodring was probably one of the top 3 kickers in the country last year, and he's not even the top 3 in the SEC this year?? Reckon it came down to ceiling on numbers. I like our team, and I like being under the radar. Go Dawgs!
Dang, 4 OL if you count Luckie. I’m definitely going to be disappointed if the OL doesn’t take a step forward, especially with a new coach and tons of talent. Go Dawgs!!!
are they running a new scheme?
The Athletic ranks Chris Cole as the #2 draft eligible LB in all of college football. And on this poll he's not one of the top 9 LB's in the SEC??? I'm not one to generally pile on the media but this is pretty pathetic.
Might be more a matter of being "under-estimated"… perhaps the lack of data gives these pollsters pause to rate any higher. But opponents will under-estimate this dude at their own peril… he gonna be a havoc-wreaker. Go Dawgs!
….. as tata's on a bull! Play the games!!!
What does a preseason prediction by a media group get ya?
A lot of "such and such didn't meet expectations " later towards end of season from the same group!
Who's expectations?
