- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

SEC media picks Georgia football to win conference in 2026
The SEC announced its predicted order of finish by the media voters on Friday.

Hope one of these votes came from someone lubricated by fine Kentucky bourbon!
Hopefully this is the year all of those voters are correct, and our Dawgs aren’t jinxed. I was hoping they’d pick Texas to win it. I’m sure Kirby was, too.
Go Dawgs!
Not trying to take anything away from winning an SECCG, but there are bigger, more important fish to fry....like winning a Natty.
The SEC's overall postseason record since 2024 stands at 12-21 combined across the 2024–25 and 2025–26 bowl/CFP seasons, featuring a 5-14 record in the 2025–26 postseason and an 8-7 record in the 2024–25 postseason.
Even those stats are being a bit generous, because the five wins include a G5 school, plus two SEC vs SEC games which guaranteed an SEC team winning. If we instead look at the SEC's CFP record against other power conferences since 2023, it's 2-7 (both wins from 2024 Texas).
That's a pitiful record. The SEC needs to stop whining about tough schedules and figure out how to show up and win games in the postseason, when it matters the most. But I will say that the CFP Committee needs to take into account SOS much more than they do now.
If it means so much more in the SEC, we'd better start proving it.
Rat Poison!
"The last team to win three straight SEC championships was Alabama, which did so from 2014 through 2016. Georgia has never won three consecutive SEC football titles in program history."
May need to check your facts or at least your wording, sir. Georgia did indeed win three consecutive SEC football titles from 1980 through 1982. Those Georgia teams were undefeated in SEC play all three years. They shared the 1981 title with Alabama. You would be correct if you said SEC Championship games, which did not exist before 1992.
i think he was referring to sec titles that had a championship game
Duh we won the SEC two years in a rollbonly to get knocked out of the playoffs in the first round.
totally agree. Rather have the natty than the SEC but both would be nice
Watching some old SEC game highlights on YouTube. One has to wonder what in the world happened to Auburn, Florida and Tennessee. These were powerhouses back in the day.
