Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Talyn Taylor was the rare 5-star wide receiver to sign with Georgia.
Comments
Is Taylor getting developed at UGA? Who is responsible for that? Bobo. Correct, Taylor will have to live up to his hype if UGA wants to get into the playoffs this year.
Prothro is the real X factor. Never not been the champion. 4x Georgia State Champion and all time Georgia TD leader.
Prothro is the truth. If Taylor is good also that would be wonderful.
He's got a WR coach too. God
Do you know anything about sports?
Probably showing my ignorance but who teaches them how to run routes better? we talk a lot about potential but how about analytics. what percentage is thrown to what group on what down with what sucess? That should be and might be part of play calling but it does look like at times we get hung in a rut and do the same old things not necessarily successfully
Good points all and we for sure need this guy to not be a bust. I have also wondered if indeed our tight ends are not just blocking dummies, are they getting open or just being ignored.
Protho - He's the guy. Dandridge after that. The new kid from Tech. It would be nice for Taylor to break out.
Taylor reminds me of Arian Smith in that he is almost impossible to guard one on one. He certainly could be a difference maker but he must improve his ball catching technique or the drops we grew accustomed to watching from Arian will impede his growth. TT has smaller hands like Smith, while Pickens has huge hands. I hope Talyn can get over the dropsies, stay healthy and become all that we hope he can become. The upside potential is undeniable. Kid is some kind of talented.
The Dawgs have "game-changers" all over the field, this year. To pick one without mentioning the others is kind of shortsighted....imho. Lol…you could almost go position group by position group....off & def….and find at least one, game-changer in each. I mean....their loaded.
It would be a good year for the media to pay attention to Athens. They could look like knowledgeable geniuses….if they play their cards right. Lol
I know one thing....UGA won't be ignored or under valued this year....by anybody. Not, once the season starts. 10 SEC Games is a grind, though. No matter which team you have to play. Especially if you're UGA.
Which is why I think Kirby will use the first few games to strengthen his depth. So…it may take a few games before people start noticing the dominance....due in part to having "backups" frequently platoon'ing with the 1's. That cuts into statistics and points...however in the Dawgs' case, it won't effect the win column... imo.
Yes, we don't need to overthink this. We have 6 tight ends who can block, catch and run.
Mix and match the 13 man, run, catch, rpo. If we do this right other teams will be so beat up by us running up their gut with 3 tight ends they may give up by the 3rd quarter. The last thing other teams want to see is 3 240lb blockers coming at them on top of our great OL.
Luckie, Elyiss, Barbour, Reddell, Heinrich, Prothro - ouch.
Not being critical of the article but can we please have an article on Taylor without always highlighting the drop vs Bama. We all remember and don’t need to relive it each time we see something on Taylor. Go DAWGS!
