Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

no. News outlets downsized and copy editors were the first to go.
And consequently, we're depending on AI to do the work for us, from journalism to medical decisions to warfare. God help us. Go Dawgs!
No excuse for dropping passes. Drops are drive killers.
Just my humble opinion. But this is Why they have practices and scrimmages. The coaches and players know what needs to be worked and will do so.
It was also stated in the article that there were “nice catches” made so it wasn’t All dropped passes. GS working to get dialed in is not a call for woe and doom either. He’s working with allot of new guys that he and they need to develop a same page chemistry.
YES there Are questions and concerns. But that’s not unique to this year. And it’s not unique to the Dawgs, other teams are struggling with new personnel to. I doubt you’ll ever see KS or his staff come out after a preseason scrimmage and say: Man we’re doing great !! We’re firing on all cylinders !! This team is unstoppable !! So he tells them “We’re counting the drops “. That shames and embarrasses the guys and should motivate them to do better.
So sounds pretty much like a typical preseason scrimmage to me. I’d rather the problems be identified and worked on Now than during the season.
I have been hearing about how absolutely suffocating the defense has been all camp, so a struggling offense is not absurd to hear about in the first scrimmage. I believe there will be twelve scheduled opponents that are going to struggle very much against this defense so I'm not overly concerned at this point.
I agree. Are those "drops" or good defensive pass breakups?
It’s always going to be the doom and gloom portion of fans that love commenting lol . It’s camp your practicing day in and day out in 100 degree heat . Every single practice won’t be a perfect day . That’s the reason you practice and train to find and fix . People expect the team to be national champions the first scrimmage of preseason camp . This team is tremendously talented and these boys are working out the kinks and getting better each day .
