This is a little off-topic, but based on Kirby's comments here, and in other recent articles, he sure seems more bullish, maybe even confident about this team than he typically is at this time of the year. In fact, in past years, I've wondered why he seems so pessimistic— we're nowhere close to a good team, nowhere near where we need to be kind of thing. We are hearing the players say there remains a lot of work to do, and you know that's coming from Kirby (and a great mindset for him to instill)… but I'm encourage by his public optimism before the first kickoff! Go Dawgs!
I apologize for this being off topic but this is annoying the heck out of me, has the format changed to all of our posts being white letters with a black backgroud or did I hit a wrong button somewhere on my computer? IF this is the new format, I don't care for it, and if it's not any words of wisdom to correct it would be very much appreciated .
Man, some of you people either have short memories, or belong to the Johnny come lately bulldog fan club. Do you not remember how many years that UGA was not even in the conversation for conference and national championships at the end of the season. I, for one, am totally okay with how Kirby has tried to navigate the current “pay for play” model by adding pieces through portal to complement core group recruited from high school. In my opinion, we will not see many back to back national championships going forward as it is now to easy for players to be pimped to the highest bidder by their parents and agents. Curt Cignetti is a good coach, but does anyone doubt for a moment that Kirby could have done the same at Indiana if he took 18 UGA players with him to Indiana, and had Mark Cuban throwing money at players. If you like the truly mercenary model go cheer for LSU and Lame Kiffin. I am good with being consistently competitive with a coach that loves UGA and who is doing his best to do it the right way.

I wish Xavier the best. We don't know what's going on and to make a comment like he doesn't want to work by a commenter down below is just wrong. The situation has to be difficult for him with all he has put into it.
I believe I saw that Bear Alexander will start for Oregon this year. I don't know where Pops ended up. Already forgotten his name or I would google it.
Yes, more power to him, and I hope his life goes great. Thanks to him for working so hard and being a good player while he was on the team. Of course there are transfer players who don't pan out at the level fans hope for, and perhaps the player and the coaches hope for. This is the case for every program in the country. I don't mean to say that you're implying anything other than that.

If he was that good, he would've won the job back, plain and simple. But he saw the writing on the wall and left..
I wish McLeod the very best in life. He did what he thought was best. If his heart wasn’t in football any more his production would probably have dropped. By leaving he gives someone else an opportunity. He stated very clearly and eloquently how he Loves UGA and his teammates. To me he’s a DGD.

i get it you gotta ride for Stetson. Not sure why we gotta trash JT though. There was no way he was gonna get the job back. Also Kirby was never gonna give it to him after he went outside the UGA machine for treatment on his oblique injury. So he left. Still don’t understand why parts of our fanbase have to trash JT when he never lost a game as a starter.
Please change this black background crap. It is annoying and certainly not an improvement!
