ATHENS — Georgia tight end Elyiss Williams told reporters on Tuesday that the play he scored on in Georgia’s 63-3 win over Tennessee State was practiced over and over and over again in the offseason.

Elyiss is a true blocking & pass catching weapon…gotta use him and the rest of that TE room more this season…our secret sauce! And YES!! PLEASE do not land on your head like that ever again! I cringed when I watched the play.
Ditto on TE use and landing. Regarding the latter, I instantly texted buddies and said I sure hoped he hadn't broken his neck. He popped up pretty quickly, but didn't look quite right. Thank goodness he's okay, though surely still feeling it in the neck and shoulders area. Go Dawgs!
Even Lynn Swann landed on his head a time or two…not saying Elyiss should do that, but it happens.
The best part is that he hung onto the ball!
Having an exceptionally good blocking Tight End is a God Send for an offence . The talent in our TE room is something else.
