I’ve been to Oxford when our Dawgs played there a few years back. Without a doubt, Mississippi fans are some of the most gracious tailgating fans in all of college football. Their fans were literally putting food on plates for us as we walked thru the grove. Something tells me these fans are not going to be so gracious tomorrow in Oxford. Only time I’ll ever say this….Go Rebels!! 🤣🤣
Really torn on this one. First, I want kiffin to get his rear handed to him in the ultimate embarrassment game while at the same time, I want that pompous ass golding to get his rear handed to him in the ultimate embarrassment game. Then again, I really just wish the earth would open up and swallow them both.
Kiffen is a punk. I hope Ole Miss beats them by 3 scores. He attracts attention because he wants attention. Then he plays the why doesn't anybody like me card as if he wasns't the one that created it.
His clown act will only take him so far. If he can't put together a winner @LSU, with all their resources...then, he's all hype and mouth, with a better than average career success rate.
At some point...like Fisher...Kiffin's gonna have to stop relying on the last name and actually produce a Championship Team...or, like Jumbo & Coach "O"....just fade away with the buyout.
Which I believe is his plan. He doesn't love the game or his Team, enough to stick around...imo. He loves himself...and, he loves fame. Lol...we might see him on a Soap Opera one day. He's working on his early retirement plan...and LSU are "The Suckers Du Jour", because they're desperate. They're no longer playing with house money. Lol

Kiffin will have the best access to talent since he’s been a head coach. If you recall (you probably don’t) he had sever scholarship restriction when he was at USC. He’s won everywhere he’s been post-Bama. He may not win the game tonight, but he’s gonna win at LSU.

Ya know.…i gave him credit for "a better than average success rate". He's won plenty....but, not the ones that count. He's not the only one. And, of the rest....he probably deserves it more. But.....why would he worry about it now? Lol.
IF.....Kiffin wins it All at LSU....I'll be his biggest Fan. I've always thought he was one of the most " interesting" Head Coaches in CFB. But...a better Coordinator.
I could be wrong and hope i am. I just don't believe he cares enough...to do what winners have to do, to Win in the SEC.

Lol...ya think?. We just started paying players. They've been paying Coaches for more than a hundred years. Some People are always going to find something to biitch about. It's all horse manure.
Are we talking about Universities of higher learning?.…or a Business Model that uses and takes advantage of our youth, by bribing them with gold and false promises of glory?.
We know what CFB has become. Merely another Vegas cash machine for the Gambling Mobs of America.
If history has shown us anything......It's that ANYTHING can and will eventually be....corrupted and compromised by bad actors, if there aren't guardrails in place to prevent it. CFB....Has NO guardrails....and neither does the cashflow.
Don't be so naive as to believe they aren't influencing games through everything....from bribery to compromise. Let's "add a second" and think about that. Lol
I remember a day....when "people griped about sending troops over seas and payin' em squat". They still get squat for the job they do. But....No....let's pay game players rather than warriors the big bucks.
But....it is what it is. I still like CFB and a few of the Teams and Coaches....just not as much as I once did. Money and greed taints everything it touches, unfortunately.
I just don't get how we could allow them to "F" with our kids like that....and NOT try to prevent it. Instead, we have grown ass people facilitating the Evil engulfing our kids...and, another one of America's pass times.

I also think that IF CFB players are gonna be paid....Their future Employer should be responsible for paying them.
Much like an apprenticeship program....
An NFL Team...or the League itself...should identify the players they are interested in coming out of High School....and Sponsor those players with pay and resources as approved by the School & Athletic Program involved.
As far as I'm concerned....the NFL can pay a future player whatever they think they're worth....until they graduate and take their place in the League...or get Fired.
Just like any other profession in the World..
It benefits the player and future employer as it should. The school should have no more say, than they would for an apprentice in any other extra-curricular Program.
I say....let's Get Back to Skool! If a player is good enough to play in the NFL out of HS and an NFL Team wants to accept the risk.....go for whatcha know.
