Florida is the hardest game on Georgia's schedule. Buster has all the tools right now. Florida is dangerous.

Peyton Woodring is the UGA "secret weapon" who's stock is soaring even though he hasn't been called into action very often this season. With the toughest games still ahead, he should be considered a difference maker for the Dawgs.

Yeah they look good but Ole Miss could not keep Louisville out of the endzone. UF will not run the ball on UGA, and that will limit the offense to whatever the QB can do. We will see. Barring injuries the Dawgs defense should be absolutely frightening by Halloween. It will be fun to watch!
I was going to say basically the same thing, and then add in the emotional game last week for OM, it was almost doomed from the start.

I agree. That's why Florida was favored by 3 to 3½ points. Playing an over ranked, letdown candidate....in the Swamp...without Lacy. Not as difficult a win as one might expect. Lol
Dawgs have a history over all of stopping big time RBs. I’m having my usual brain cramp but remember when they shut down the premier RB at Ole Miss a few years back ? Coming into that game he was red hot but the Dawgs shut him down bad !!
I believe they can and Will do it again vs UF. Gunner and CMB had a bad second half. Theres no doubt and no excuses. But what depresses me are a few Dawgs fans won’t even give Gunner credit for the Beautiful long bombs he Did connect on. That’s just plain nitpicking to me.
All off season and during this season on this site. You could read about Dawgs fans complaining about the lack of deep pass attempts. Now with a comfortable lead in the score Dawgs do attempt some and still some complaining !!
You can’t truly simulate these close enough in practices. You Need the Real Game attempts. Even when they are misses. How can Gunner and his targets get better at those if we don’t attempt them ?
So the recipe in my view is Use our big TEs in the short to intermediate passes. Trusting that by their sheer size they’ll get YAC. Coupled with our solid running game ( especially when Frazier gets back fully healthy). Get a comfortable score up and Try some of those deep passes !!
Taylor looks legit at catching those. He caught one with one hand !! If the Dawgs can get to the playoffs they will Need that extra element !! Go Dawgs !!
@MikeGriffith Hit the nail square on the head in an earlier thread by him !! The Dawgs defense got inside Mateer’s head Early !! The psychological pressure combined with the real physical pressure Caused his mistakes !!
Plus if the Dawgs don’t capitalize on those mistakes then it’s a wasted opportunity. But Cole in particular Did capitalize on them so it’s not artificial wins by the Dawgs defense !! It was Very real !! Ask Mateer !! Go Dawgs !!
Lmao....the Dawgs defense didn't do that to Mateer. That's just him. He didn't look any more clueless Saturday, than he looked in weeks 1 thru 3. I thought he would make a leap between '25 and '26...and he did..."backwards". He's history.
Kirby has seen this Buster Faulkner offense enough at tech to knw what to expect. The Dawgs will be ready for whatever fla dishes out. Go Dawgs!
The A&M fiasco is exhibit A1 of how difficult football can be if you don’t have a competent QB. Oklahoma is exhibit A2. Coaches appear clueless when they continue to play QBs like Reed and Mateer. Gotta give a backup a chance. How could it get any worse?

Natty if Dawgs have Buster over current retread of a play caller. Let’s pump the breaks on celebrating this offense. We all know what happens when the lights get too bright against legitimate competition. Three straight years of evidence to prove it. Why do we need to be reminded of this every year? Why do we settle for this mediocrity?
According to Raylen Wilson, we have the guy on our scout squad who can simulate the Bama and UF QBs, Hezekiah Millender…..he gave Millender all the props for getting them ready for Mateer….. and the OU offense in general….
