Vanderbilt coach Clark Lea understands the emotion surrounding Jared Curtis' appearance against Georgia, but he's keeping his team engaged on execution.

Uh, I would suggest another reason he went to Vandy……….MONEY!!!!!
well he also is the starter and playing games now. That wouldn’t be happening here
“This guy’s got a great heart…." OK, so let's break his heart and his will and make him rethink his life choices and his desire to ever play the game of football again.
“I would say first of all, Jared is a special person, and independent of his choice, the decision to come to Vanderbilt is a representation of the fact that he thinks for himself and he knows what he wants, and I’ve been so Impressed, not just with him as a player, but honestly more so with him as a person,” Lea said.
So a young man who flat out lied to the Georgia coaches and “committed”, not once but twice, to UGA, is an impressive person to Coach Lea? Really? The saying my grandfather taught me and I then taught my sons that “a man is no better than his word” is apparently considered old fashioned and to no longer be important. What are we teaching our youth these days? In addition, Jared professes to be a follower of Jesus. I wonder if the Scriptural commandment “Thou shalt not lie” means anything to the young man. Apparently not. Has he even confessed to intentionally misleading the UGA staff? I could go on, but in this day and time keeping one’s word is considered “old school”, outdated, unimportant, and even ****.
The word deleted from my comment is spelled s t u p i d. Deleting that word is sort of that as well.
Good luck establishing a running game against the DAWGS defense. Lea forgot to mention that UGA's defense is much better than auburns..GoDAWGS!
It gets worse. The coach went on to say: “This guy’s got a great heart, he’s compassionate, he wants to use his platform for good, he’s a great teammate, he’s a hard worker, he’s a passionate competitor,” he said. “So anyone with those descriptors opting in Vanderbilt makes me excited because shows the signals we are sending out in the world are attracting those kind of people and those kind of players.”
Somebody might want to clue Lea in that this ain’t Auburn. I don’t want to see Any player injured. But I do want the Dawgs defense to introduce Curtis to the turf on Dooley field often !! Go Dawgs !!
What would be the ultimate irony would be Curtis telling Lea at the end of the regular season. No Coach I have no desire to transfer. Then Curtis transfers some where else. Wonder what Lea would say then ?
I dont believe any of that “Vandy fit better” public relations nonsense. He was chasing the $$$ and got bought.
Curtis should get an NIL deal with Tide detergent, showing how well it got the grass stains off the back of his jersey after playing the DAWGS!
@SICemDAWGS1 Lea said this in a Tuesday press conference, which tells me he hadn’t seen any game film on the Dawgs defense! As you have rightly mentioned, there will be no “establishing the run game” for them in Sanford Stadium on Saturday.
Dawgs hang 60 on the commode doors . Let them all question life choices after Saturday .
Curtis lied right up until signing day, knowing he was gonna flip, which kept Kirby from pursuing another QB. He’s not a good person in my book.
”commode doors” Lol !! Now that there was funny !! 🤣
