Georgia opened as a road favorite over Alabama but the betting line quickly shifted in favor of the Crimson Tide in Saturday's 7"30 p.m. showdown in Tuscaloosa.

Was Bama all that great or was Miss. St. a paper tiger ?
Great Post……. I think it was that second thing!
Go Dawgs! Hate on rollin' pachyderms!
Agreed!
When that line first came out for the Dawgs as a 2.5 point favorite, some major money must have jumped in to move the line 4 points for Alabama as a 1.5 point favorite….
Meh, no matter …. Dawgs roll!!!
if the coaching staff and the secondary don’t get their sh- together, it’s hard to see a win for the Dawgs this weekend given how well Russell has been playing.
the line will move based on balance of bets, more money on Bama, line swings to UGa. Vice versa, enough fools bet on UGa, Bama becomes favorite. At the end of the day Vegas will have made 10% on bets, winners will get 90% profit, losers will get negative 100% losses. Vegas always wins
MSU made way too many mistakes. I admittedly just saw the "highlights" for the game, but Taylor threw some really awful picks, and then a roughing the passer call was essentially a turnover to start the second half. Bama is very similar to UGA in that they will make you pay for mistakes. The Dawgs got away with sloppy play in the 3rd quarter against OU and in the first half against Vandy, but they cannot take a quarter off against Bama. It will need to be a relatively clean game for 4 quarters against this version of Bama to get the W.
ON3 has mentioned that Harris is still not over his foot surgery and has lost some quickness he had last year. Lets hope he can finally heal up soon, as we need his pass rush in a huge way.

It's sure a good thing that Gunner is playing so well also!
Remember, the pachyderms have not played us either!
Go Dawgs! Hate on
O line didn’t get a good push, especially on the goal line. Gunner didn’t get sacked but he was pressured immediately several times. Our D line didn’t hold up in the first half vs the run. Too many plays with vandy receivers running behind out D backs or running completely wide open. Too many third down conversions given up. If our Dawgs play like that this Saturday, it’ll be a long night. I know the Dawgs probably weren’t as fired up due to the noonish start, the humidity and not a packed stadium all playing a part in the sluggish start. Hopefully the Dawgs will play a lot better this Saturday night. Kirby needs this win to show that this bama thing has turned around and not let deboer beat him again. One third of Kirby’s losses have been to them. Go Dawgs!
Right now it's Bama by 1.5 but it will probably fluctuate back and forth with the money until game time.
The weather forecast for Tuscaloosa calls for rain from a tropical storm expected to be over the area at game time. That should shift the balance toward the Dawgs. I don't put much credence in a forecast this far out but it will be something to keep an eye on as the week progresses. Especially if you plan to bet on the game.
Good!....I absolutely love it, when Kirby snaps it off in some Vegas and Disney ass. Lol...ESPN is busy pushing Jeremiah Smith to the Heisman Trophy....Bama, Texas, Texas Tech and OSU to the top of CFB....etc.. Same ol'...same ol'. Lol....some things never change.
However,.....Some things DO! The Dawgs aren't the league Patsy anymore and the Media is having a hard time with it. They despise Southeastern Teams like UGA. Always have.
Lol.…so listen up....for the snapping sound coming from Vegas & Mainstream Sports Media this Saturday. That game is not gonna go the way they think it will.
UGA Rat Poison will be at an all-time high after the Bama Game. But....this year, Kirby doesn't care. His Team is salty and disciplined....they won't "overlook" anybody. They play to a Standard....not an opponent.
GGo Dawgs!!! This is YOUR Year.
We never should have let Muschamp get away. Vandy game first half D performance demonstrated why.
Yeah…im not interested in excuses…go beat um…we are the better team!
Would've been a waste...imo.. Dawgs are operating on all cylinders with the current coaching staff.
Muschamp is a Head Coach…in wait. Where will he wind up?....is the only question, in my mind. Oklahoma....FSU....Clemson…Texas or Miami, maybe.
Lol…he's gonna get Big Bucks, too.
Dam! Just when we thought we had an elite D and O line.
He's been a head coach. Twice. In the SEC. The teams you mentioned are going to be looking for current head coaches with better than a 52% win record. Nebraska bet on Matt Ruhle, a 50% lifetime head coach win record and look at what they have, today. Daiola leaves for Oregon and lights it up the first chance he gets. Spending millions to bet on the come is a thing of the past. I hate to see it but Will may have to spend some time in FAU purgatory before he makes it back to the big show.
Exactly so.
Go, Dawgs!
