Georgia has ruled out another playmaker for the Alabama game, as receiver Isiah Canion has been downgraded from questionable to "out" for Saturday's game at Alabama.

If our Dawgs can chalk W’s vs Bama and Auburn what would be Great is to get most of these guys back vs UF. I know, I know, one game at a time. But with Bowens, Canion, Blackshear, and Green back the Dawgs would have even more quality depth. Unfortunately I think Amaris Williams and Dante Dowdell are out for the regular season.
I realize Green is a true freshman but his speed was making him a very useful player on special teams. Plus any snaps he gets at his normal position as a DB are great. Especially for next year. Green is gonna I believe develop into a star over time.
But for now I hope CJ Wiley and others can ramp up their games. These injuries guve guys an opportunity to shine on a big stage. I hope they make the best of it !! Go Dawgs !!
Boy the Dawgs can't catch a break this year with the transfers. In my mind Bowens is the one that could be most impactful. And let's please keep Gunner upright. I expect to see a lot of Dwight Phillips and that's a good thing. I hope Bobo has schemed him in various ways into the game plan. He's dangerous in space. Also Reddell needs to get more involved.
Agree with all you said. And they could even Run Reddell. He’s already been used to run the football a few timex this year. I hope Frazier is as close to 100% as possible. And Brother I SO agree with you about Peanut Dwight Phillips !! He’s electric with the ball in his hands !!
If our Defense can just contain the Bama QB from running much. And put some good hits on him so he starts seeing defenders that are not Really there !! Get his accuracy and timing out of whack and get him to throw some INTs !!
He’s a very athletic guy. But he’s not faced a defense like our Dawgs !! And they are super hungry !! Go Dawgs !! Sic ‘Em !!
He's been out....right? Next man up, NIL opportunity
I hope Bobo and Kirby have been saving Elyiss and Reddell for tomorrow night! Frazier fumbled last year in Athens, and I'm sure he wants a chance for payback! This game is huge!! And no going for it on 4th and 1…kick the FG!!!
This would be the perfect game to full on turn Dwight Phillips into James Cook and let him do what he did when he played for us. He is that style of player to me.
Seems the Portal is cursed for Georgia. Turn P-nut loose as a all purpose back
Canion has not been much of a factor at all this season, so the loss is nothing worth talking about. But, like others have stated, for whatever reason the Dawgs can't seem to keep their transfers off the injury lists! Just crazy.
We will miss Bowens as my bet is Frazier will be playing at less than 100%.
I'm wondering if injuries to transfers has anything to do with practices be a lot harder at UGA than from their previous destination?
Pretty misleading headline.
These transfer portal additions seem to have all taken themselves out through injuries, either during games or self-inflicted. Expensive to pay these guys who don't play…
Biggest key to victory will be to contain the scrambling Bammer QB…
