Worst loss of Kirby's career.
Wow. I didn't realize that UGA actually outgained Auburn by more than 100 yards. This despite their quarterback running wild on us. Him and the wide receiver, #8, were all they had. As the story points out, if we don't turn the ball over, we win. Wow, UGA will likely be tied with Kentucky atop the SEC standings. And games like today are why I hate the idea of a 24-team CFP. All you need to do is play against a team that's a big underdog and they come in fired up and beat you. There goes your season.
Tired, beat up team. Injuries everywhere. And this game the ball didn’t bounce our way. Gunner was uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball. Just a bad week. Tough game last week. Fresh team as an opponent. Nobody goes undefeated anymore. Gotta get rested and healed up. It's a long season. Tough games ahead.
Agreed, it's hard to go undefeated…just wish they didn't trip up on shaky Auburn team with four tough games remaining. This will be a bitter bye week, and I'm sure Kirby will use that.
Nobody hates Auburn or losing worse than me. However some of Kirby’s best work has been done after tough losses. Gotta get ready to fight the rowdy reptiles as they will not be playing the violin for us!
I don't know, that Vandy loss his first year was pretty bad.
Not even close. Losing to Carolina at home when Muschamp was their coach was the lowest point for me in the Kirby area. Auburn always plays Georgia close. Sad thing is their QB called this win before it happened.
