ATHENS — Nate Frazier was physically back on the field for the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday.

The reason the field goal was rushed and blocked . They were waiting on the holder . Hope they get things addressed in the bye week . This is a championship team and hopefully they can play like it the rest of the year.
I woulda expected GS to take his mistakes a little harder and take a little more responsibility. A shrug of the shoulders does not absolve 3 turnovers. As for Frazier, he has taken his coaching to the other extreme. The last 2 years he would take a handoff and hit the assigned hole even if there was no hole there. Vs AU he took too long in the backfield looking for a running lane until there was none there.
As for the UGA , and its 5 playable OL, multiple players have seen playing time over the last 2 years. 50, 51, 52, 64, 70, 72, and 76 have all seen significant playing time. That is 7 (!) players beyond the starters. All of a sudden they all stink or are hurt?
You're exactly right. And to piggyback on what you've said, the problem with losing to Auburn is that we now have to be concerned with whether this was truly a one-off, or whether Auburn exposed genuine weaknesses that could linger. If Stockton was not concussed nor injured — as both Stockton and Kirby claimed — then why did he play so uncharactaristically poorly? And could it happen again? And if we couldn't tackle Brown, how will we do against other running QBs? The kid who led Florida over Texas can run. And we all KNOW what Chambliss can do with his legs? And Janoris Sellers at South Carolina may be even bigger and harder to tackle than Brown? Can our defense handle them? We'd all like to believe that it can, but Saturday's game, because it was so unexpected, makes you really wonder. It's not just simply a matter of "staying positive," and believing that things will just get better because we've got two weeks off and will "go back to work." Everybody else is going to be working, too. And if both Florida and Ole Miss beat us, they would suddenly jump ahead of us in conference (and likely playoff) standings. And for all we know right now, Bolden and Bowens could be lost for the season. And as for Nate Frazier, he may still be great. But his early-season success came against Tennessee State, Western Kentucky and (one half) against Arkansas. Not exactly stellar competition. I, for one, don't subscribe to the theory that Ole Miss tried to hurt him. He has been hurt a lot during his career. But if he isn't completely over his latest injury, physically and/or mentally, then maybe he should just sit out until he's truly ready. Hopefully, that day will be Oct. 31 in Atlanta. Go Dawgs!
can we not use the word “great” and Frazier in the same sentence? I know he’s maybe still hurt, but he was never “great” before the rib injury. He’s always had problems fumbling and he’s never been able to decisively hit holes and explode. I’m trying to remember if he’s ever taken a 40-50 yard run to the house the way true greats like Herschel, Gurley, and Chubb did. He’s good, but not great. Heck, I think I’d take Olandis Gary or Musa Smith over him.
why not use Redell a little as a ball carrier? Maybe up the middle, but definitely give him some toss sweeps…
I clearly said not everyone was claiming “doom and gloom” but yes, many on these pages is predicting our demise for this season. We seem to be forgetting that auburn hasn’t been the typical auburn this season and they showed me nothing on Saturday that makes me believe they won’t end the season ranked. They have the same record as alabama, texas, lsu, Missouri and florida. Their losses were against florida, who beat the pants off texas, and 6-1 tennessee, who beat the pants off alabama.
Yes, we played bad but they took advantage of that bad. I hate ever giving those clowns any props but we lost to a not bad team. I guarantee that wouldn’t happen a second time. I look to 2017 and the EXACT same scenario. We were undefeated until auburn crushed us in the regular season but we came back and beat them in the SECCG, played for the NC and were cheated out of that win (Tyler Simmons was onside).
We knew we’d likely lose a game but no game stood out as which game. That was it. Now we get right.
You said that Walker, Peal and Lamar didn't contribute well how can you contribute if Bobo doesn't even put you in the game. This is RBU or have we forgotten that. Why count on Frazier EVERY single play and Peanut once in a while now. Use ALL our running backs. GO DAWGS
It’s crazy not to give Bo the ball several times in a game. Why isn’t he used more? He looked good against Bama.
Some very insightful commentary on this board. One thing hit me…was Auburn that good or the Dawgs that bad or both? Auburn played up…Georgia down. The mindset sporting a supposed 28 pt Dawgs victory margin put me in a comfort zone I had no business being in. Why, "them Dawgs" was up 14 to nothin' in a hurry. Game over…so I thought. What a stunning mistake. This Brown kid can run and, at times, throw. What? Georgia was missing tackles? Well, reality set in very quickly that the Dawgs were not executing and not prepared for this supposedly easy contest. No synchronicity. I saw chaos on the field …often. Gunner got hit then said he was fine….if that is fine he is not the QB hyped to be. I will leave it there. I get windy … Oh, Nate Frazier is still hurting. Obviously. Phillips is doing a good job taking up the slack. UGA must play to its "standard" in two weeks or there will be a second loss. Florida's QB is really mobile. Georgia's Achilles Heel. Get better, Dawgs!!!!
a lot of this loss falls on the coaches and how they used played. Frazier should have been used as a decoy
Kirby said Frazier ran tough! THereby justifyingstarting him instead of Peanut, but he clealy didn't have his normal juice!
