I have no idea which Georgia team will show up vs the Gators?: The Alabama win or the Auburn terrible loss. No idea. It will likely take more team than both of those? I do not trust Georgia …yet. They will have to prove themselves to me again. Highly undisciplined team vs Auburn? IMO!
As much as I loved watching the Dawgs walk away victorious when they last played in Alabama, there was some luck involved in that win. There is almost always some luck involved, right?
In our game against Alabama we could have played better and made fewer mistakes. The same could almost certainly be said about most all wins by any team, right? It's pretty clear that Florida can and does play very very well on occasion but they've been inconsistent. It could be argued that the Dawgs have been somewhat inconsistent, too, even though they've won a higher percentage of their games than Florida. Consistency will matter in Atlanta on Halloween. Go, Dawgs!
Both of you guys make good points, but let’s look at the loss this way. Georgia was coming off a physically and emotionally challenging game vs bama while auburn had two weeks to get ready for Georgia, who wound up doing what auburn cried about when they didn’t want to play Georgia and bama back to back (Hmmmm!). Also, yesterday showed that it was a fluke because Lsu jumped out by 14 like Georgia did, but Lsu didn’t make the mistakes that Georgia did. This loss should do our Dawgs some good because it showed them that they can be beat if they don’t play their best and make unexplainable mistakes. Go Dawgs! Beat the gaytors!
I don't think SC is a sure win either, as I thought earlier in the season. They have played pretty good at times lately, other times, not so good. Another mobile QB too. and the biggest QB they'll face this year. Sellers is a load to tackle, think he tips the scales around 240-245lbs. It all depends on which version of SC shows up against the DAWGS..GoDAWGS!
the next 4 games is going to define this team. Auburn broke a 9 year losing streak so Florida will be looking to do the same. Carolina will not be a pushover with that QB.. we will see Go Dawgs
move up, move down, move sideways. Polls matter late November. No SEC team will escape the 9 gamecSEC gauntlet with less than 2 losses. Question is will this be the first year a 3 loss team makes the CFPs. Vegas odds say yes
I don't care how we're ranked or how anybody is ranked. The polls don't really mean anything yet. I'd just as soon be ranked lower, but it does not matter.
I wouldn't matter being ranked below Notre Dame if the Golden Boys were ranked lower.

Bama was let in when three losses lost year.
So was SMU but each of them lost their third game in the conference championship……might be different issue if a team loses three games in the regular season and doesn't make the championship of their conference.

It'd be one thing of they were competitive in their conference title game. But they got blown out. They were a 3-loss non-conference-champion who got blown out in the last game they played and they were still let in. I don't really see how that's categorically different than doing 9-3.
This post indicates....you Know UGA and Smart/Saban methodology. Yeah....they'll ride that Auburn Game all the way to Nattyburg. Which I believe is near Fansville. Should get a few Dr Pepper commercials after This Season. Maybe. Lol
The Dawgs had everything go wrong...and, still almost pulled it out. That will sting...if you're a player. There ain't a Dawg on that team, that didn't feel the punch in the face at the final buzzer. You can bet...Kirby taught em how to respond to adversity....from the day each of em set foot on campus.
They'll get the job done. No doubt in my mind about that. But it won't be as easy as I thought before the Season. EVERYBODY in the SEC is playing....or has the ability to play.…solid, physical football. We don't see it from every team, every week...cause, they're beatin' hell out of each other.
Imo....the top third of the SEC belongs in whatever Playoff they have in mind. And, you could make an argument for half the league. I'd like to see more cross-mojo'nation.…between Conferences during the regular season to clear that up. Lol

But....but....but....they're Bama. Lol....owned and operated by ESPN/Disney. Saban declared they belonged....so the National Media blitz went non-stop to get em IN. Just like the National Media Blitz in 2007 to keep UGA OUT....and put LSU IN.
I still remember Herbstreit's mealy mouthed push for LSU over UGA. I still don't know how that guy wields the clout he wields. He has good common sense....so it's obvious when he deviates for an agenda. To me, anyway. Lol
ESPN/ABC/DISN do it all the time. Did it with Texas & Arch Manning...cause, we all know how the Manning's and ESPN are tied at the hip. He's like one of their children. No way he doesn't land on his feet in a nice cushy field correspondent job.
Lol....Or....on the set with his Uncles doing some NFL bit. Good for him....but, don't tell me he's a better quarterback than Stockton....or Puglisi for that matter. I'm not impressed with Manning or Texas. My eyes don't lie.
At the end of the day....if you aren't playing in the SEC....It's just Entertainment. Go Dawgs!!!!
