Florida defensive coordinator Brad White has had success slowing Georgia offense while at Kentucky but still hoping for first win against UGA.

I think we have to put up at least 28 to walk away with a W. We need to have some surprise plays, some TE plays and some containment on their QB. We want to win out but we need this one as some extra motivation.
We don't win against UF or Ole Miss without perfect games on both sides. These are all play-in games now!
Agree 100%. If it comes down to needing an SECC win for a playoff bid, it will be tough getting to that game with the tie breakers lost because of the Auburn game coupled with a 2nd loss.
This guy worries me a little bit. He's spot on, with regard to Stockton and how UGA uses him….as well as the rest of the offensive scheme…imo.. He might not "stop" UGA….but, he knows how to cause them problems.
Of course….The Dawgs aint slippin' up on anybody, anyway. Especially an Alligator. Lol. You can hear The Dawgs growling, from Gainesville, i'm sure. In fact….word is everybody is hip to UGA's jive…and, what the Dawgs are, now. Kirby will have them ready.
So……I pray the Dawgs can stay healthy during the War of 2026. May they come away with all their teeth & claws, after each battle. I see the Dawgs continuing their march….all the way to the Promised Land intact, in '26/'27. So it is said….let it be done. Amen.
I can hear Kirby's pregame, now…."I don't even care if we win or lose….i just want to make the bastards bleed". Lol….i agree.
Lol….and, that goes double for them. This is a must win for Florida. And, a "wanta win" for UGA. Either way….the Dawgs are still hunting. If the Gators lose….their Season is all but over.
Should be an extremely physical game….unfortunately for UGA. They're just recovering from the first half of the Season…..and, all the dents and dings they sustained in that group of games. Lol
However…..playing UGA physically….is kind of like Brer Rabbit inviting Brer Fox into the Briar Patch. Lol….UGA was "born and raised in a briar patch….born and raised in a briar patch….la la lala la la.".
If the Gators come out swinging with physicality….God help em. The Dawgs will chew their legs off before the first half. i dare em to " Go Big"….Lol.
Dawgs will be a bit rusty in the first half. Dawgs fans will be cursing and saying Oh no not again. But then they break away in the second half to win by a very solid score. That’s my humble opinion. As we can afford as fans to look ahead the Ole Miss game is much more concerning to me. Go Dawgs !!
i'm sorry Navy….the Dawgs are gonna be "rusty" from what? and why?.
i disagree. They will be as "rusty" against Florida….as Auburn was against UGA after "their" Bye Week. I personnally think this bye week couldn't have come at a better time. Lol….well?…..actually, it could've come after the Bama game.
Lol….In fact….as physically taxing as the SEC has been this Season….they might want to look at either adding a Bye Wk next Season….or drop back to 8 Conference Games. And, 8 is a lot….imo…..considering the schedule some of the other Conferences play.
IMO…..That's one area of the field that can't be leveled without restructuring CFB to ensure comparable SOS across the board.
NOT having to play an SEC 9 Game Schedule….is a distinct advantage to other Conferences & Notre Dame….in my book. They have an easier path to the Championship. Lolol….looks like somebody outmaneuvered Greg Sanky.
UGA and Kirby Smart won't have the chance to get "rusty" this year. Neither will anbody else in the SEC. Ya best be bringin' your A-Game every week. And, make sure the other Team gets a "B" or less. Lol
Go Dawgs!!!
Oh I could for sure be wrong. If there’s any rust I expect it to fall off fairly quick. But their Migjt be some nerve racking moments initially. But maybe not. I’m confident the Dawgs will win this game. We as fans can look ahead. I’m more concerned about Ole Miss at their house. Dawgs will need their best in that one. ND is a perverse joke in CFB. They have far easier schedule than SEC teams and no championship game to play.
The Big has it light to in comparison to the SEC. I believe the vs Auburn was a terrible horrific Fluke. We’ve yet to see these Dawgs best. Hopefully that’ll be vs Ole Miss.
One big thing I hope was addressed in the bye week. The ramming into the rival cars hoping to jar the ball loose ! No !! Wrap that guy up and tackle him ! No more bumper car stuff ! If they wanna get the ball let one Dawgs defender wrap him up tackling him while another Dawg tries to punch the ball out. The hard ramming rarely works and as we’ve seen can cause the rival to gain a big chunk of yards ! Just use traditional tackling !
Lol….I hope you're wrong about UGA not getting out to quick start. i'm hoping for 2…if not 3 solid drives in the 1st/2nd qtr…..just to set the tone.
And keep the D-Dawgs off the field, for as long as possible. It would be nice if those drives ended with points….but, it's not necesssary as long as the defense does it's job and gets 3 & outs.
IMO….The defense will play aggressive at first, in an effort to get off the field and allow the offense to go to work grinding & slinging their way down the field. Working the clock….and, more importantly….their Defense, in the process.
The way i hear it, Navy…..that's how you tenderize Gator Tail for the 2nd half feast. Lolol
Go Dawgs!…..Go Navy!!!!
Btw….i've noticed the Dawgs and a few other teams…including the Falcons….are using a flawless punch technique to knock the ball out. Rather than the unreliable reach & pull….Lol.
Seriously, though…..next time you watch a game with the Dawgs or Falcons, at the very least. Watch for the tackle punch. I call it that, because more times than not…the RB is wrapped up when the punch is delivered.
It's a very efficient technique that jars the ball "loose" most of the time. While not always resultung in a fumble….it gets inside a backs head and causes hesitation and a more secure minded approach. I think Mr. Baugh is about to have that experience….with 2 or 3 fumbles Saturday..
I've seen and used that method and others, many times….but, these guys take it to a more "precise" level….imho. It's like they've been trained by a white bearded Sensei that lives in a hut, at the top of Mount Fuji. Lol….only a martial artist could be, that consistently accurate.
