Agree. Walker is a I believe a very good RB. His tough running style coupled with Dwight Phillips speed and he’s also pretty tough as well should be sufficient. And hopefully Nate is closer to 100%. Question. So Both UF QBs are listed as questionable ?
Funny, this is one of the best injury report Dawgs have had in weeks, yet it doesn't feel like it because of KJ Boldnen. I do wish Kirby would use the other injury designations — "doubtful" and "probable" — more as that would probably provide more insight on just how likely a player is to play or not play. Typically with Georgia, a "doubtful" designation is tantamount to "out." I hope that's not the case with Bolden at least, but I'm already nervous about the Friday injury report.
Your concerns are certainly justified. But I think at least I hope, we can get past UF even without KJ. But the Ole Miss game is a whole other story. No I’m not underestimating UF ( neither will KS and the Dawgs) but I just believe we can and will beat them.
I’d dearly Love a blow out on them but I don’t think that’s gonna be the case. I do think in the end Dawgs will win by a respectable score. The Ole Miss game has me very concerned. Dawgs can’t miss a beat vs them at their house ! Dawgs will have to play A+ football. BUT if TX can beat them so can our Dawgs !
I believe the vs Auburn was a horrific and terrible Fluke. I believe our Dawgs went in and Stayed for to long thinking Oh we can play fool around ball and still beat these guys. And our Dawgs got bit in the process.
Now I think UF will be dealing with angry but focused Dawgs. They will want to redeem themselves in the worse way. KJ Is a vital player but I think the Dawgs can get by UF without him. Will playing in the Benz favor our Dawgs a bit ?
I'm hoping the Dawgs show up with fire, passion and energy in this game. It's a game they can't afford to lose. Win and Ole Miss win or lose still get's them in the CFP. Hopefully they win both. But nothing is a given week to week in the SEC. Lose to Florida and every game from there on out is a must win. Most pundits feel the Dawgs loss to Auburn was a fluke. We'll see.

Well Duh Kirby has and will have the Dawgs defense prepped for Both QBs regardless of the injury report ! Kirby has known all along that Both could potentially play. UF fans talking about pulling a Leak & Tebow on us !! Boy they’re really sneaking up on Kirby ! What a bunch of mud brained morons Lol !! Hope our Dawgs decimate them !! Sounds like Gunner’s cousin Bailey a WR for the mud lizards is out. He’s been pretty productive for them so that’s one Stockton we won’t miss !!
I don't think this is your intention, but for me, personally, I think calling it a fluke disrespects the effort, skill, passion, and especially the coaching which helped Auburn beat UGA.
I think UGA wins that game nine out of ten times, but I have to give credit to the Auburn coaching staff who used their bye week to their advantage. They knew Kirby and Schu knew their tendencies, so they altered their approach and smartly implemented a ton of tendency breakers within their plays, and it killed Georgia.
Plus, Auburn's QB just played like it was his last game of his life. Everyone knew he could have a game like that, but up until this point, we just hadn't seen it. Auburn's OL also played a heck of a game, and you can tell their entire squad was fresh and HIGHLY motivated!!
Even still with getting outcoached, outhustled, and with several uncharacteristic turnovers our beloved Dawgs were somehow STILL in the game with a chance to win it late. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about the talent and skill on this team. Even at their very worst, these Dawgs are still pretty dang good, and can still give anyone a fight even when literally EVERYTHING is going wrong for them.
If Gunner limits the turnovers and this defense can force either Gator QB to turn the ball over once or twice, then I think it is ballgame for Georgia. They are going to have to win the turnover battle, run the ball and control the clock, exyend drives on critical third downs, and stop Baugh and the Florida running game.
It is also imperative for these Dawgs to get out to an early lead. Force the Gators to be ine dimensional, and force them to play from behind. Although, I believe for the first time this year they will have all three of their best WRs healthy, and these guys are legit weapons! Let's test and see how healthy and good these guys are, but I fully trust in Ellis, Demello, Barnes, and co. Even still, they cannot afford to continue to let teams just desperately throw it up, and allow their WRs to get PI calls for easy first downs. That especially CANNOT happen on 3rd and long. The Dawgs D has to be able to get off the field.
The Florida secondary is statistically one of the worst in the SEC, so Gunner should be able to take his shots downfield when the Dawgs need an explosive. Even still, Bobo needs to get Reddell the ball either in the running game, screen game, or simply letting him run the seams. Somehow someway they need to forcefully this young man with at least five to six touches, and this offense will be all the better for it.
I expect a fun rivalry game, and I expect it to be a close finish, but I think ultimately the Dawgs will come out on top 24-17.
I agree with the majority of what you said. But with absolutely no disrespect and no sarcasm you said yourself that nine out of ten times the Dawgs would beat this same Auburn team. They don’t call it the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry for nothing ! I can’t give them respect Lol !!
Some times ( many times actually) teams will have their Best game of the season vs another team. But I believe teams can have their worse game of the season sometimes to.
OK to be a good sport I’ll give in and say they were better prepared and most importantly Better Focused than our Dawgs. I just think that our Dawgs Might have thought they could beat them playing B+ football. Wrong !! There are no more automatic wins in the SEC !! You must bring your A+ game every single SEC team you face or you can end up embarrassed. So with respect I do think it was a bit of a fluke. It sure Better Be !! Because if it wasn’t all the remaining SEC teams have to do is follow the Auburn blueprint and there’s a good chance the Dawgs lose !

I assure you I’m not !! So I’ll give Auburn this they came in better prepared and better Focused. Oh and it must be said they didn’t get bewildered and dazed when they were initially down by 14 points. So as much as I hate to say it I’ll give them some credit. Let’s Hope that was the Dawgs worse effort that lead to a loss for both regular and hopeful post season !! Go Dawgs !!
I hope All our RBs have a great day this Sat. But I’m hoping that Dwight Peanut Phillips has his best game to date !! What an explosive player he is when he gets a bit of open green in front of him !! He’s been compared to James Cook but I think he’s even a couple of steps faster than Cook !!
Last year Peanut’s body wasn’t built up enough to take big hits. But This year it’s easy to see he pushed himself really hard in the weight room !! He deserves a salute from us Dawgs fans for that extra effort !!
So Ole Coach NavyDawg says pound the lizards defensive front with Frazier ( hope he’s at or close to 100%) and Walker to get them weary then burn them with speed from Peanut !! And just think that’s only our running game !!
As I understand it Baugh is principally on his own as the lizards #2 RB is listed as doubtful !! Unfortunately they get their #1 WR back but they lose Bailey Stockton who has been pretty productive for them though I don’t know where he was on their depth chart. They also might have lost their key defensive edge player. They have these players listed as doubtful not “out”. But it sounds like even if they can play they won’t be 100%.
I Never wish injuries on any rival no matter how hated. But I figure our Dawgs have had more than their fair share so if our rivals have guys out I’m not gonna weep for them !! Go Dawgs !!
