Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: ESPN NFL draft analyst on Ladd McConkey: ‘I don’t know why he’s not getting first-round love’
McConkey's problem is 1) he is small. 2) he has been injury prone. Back injuries can end football careers. 3) there are only 32 1st rd picks. Teams can get good WR's in the entire 7 rd draft. Is LMcC one of the top 32 players in the country? Only 32 1st rd picks. IF he gets a clean bill of health AND he performs well at… -
Re: Undefined discussion subject.
@ShoottheHooch makes a good point. Excluding for the moment the 5th (left out of bye or #5 ranked team?) conference champion (BIG 2?). The way the rules are today if you play for one of the 4 (of the 5) conference championship winners you get ranked 1-4 and have a bye before the 1st game. It is complicated by a few… -

Shameless Album plug for some young Dawg fans
My kids band put out an album 10/1 that they finished recording 12/31. After they recorded, they came to my house with their friends, and everyone rooted for the Dawgs. Punk music not my favorite but definitely foot tapping original tight music. Working on my retirement plan so please give some views. High Charity by Chalk… -
Re: ‘Godfather’ of college football Roy Kramer weighs in on 12-team expanded playoff
Not that I have nearly the credentials to make a decision on the same level as Mr. Kramer, but I have to agree with him about the distinction between tournament champion and a national champion. How may times has the #1"consensus" pre-tournament NCAA basketball team won that tournament? Maybe I feel this way because UGa… -
Re: Whoever Georgia hires as new wide receivers coach will need to be comfortable with transfer portal
Not so fast Connor...."And that Jermaine Burton and AD Mitchell were able to finish their careers elsewhere helps explain why the wide receiver position in general has become such a tricky one for Kirby Smart and the Georgia program."........I see it totally opposite.....the "right" hire, combined with the #1 QB, Carson… -

Re: Georgia football podcast: UGA fans’ QB concerns briefly overshadow Playoff excitement
So, is that why JT led us on 2 TD drives TOTAL against the #8 and #19 teams. That included 1 TD pass in 2 games…….while Stetson accounted for 48 points in 2 games against the #1 team. I guess you are saying it’s better to have great vision and never score. Makes a lot of sense to me. You must be one of those fans who love… -
Re: Life is about to change
My buddy (who's actually a Florida fan) actually has this pretty good dip that I make during game day sometimes and to parties. Ingredients 1. 1 Can of Rotelle 2. 1 stick of cream cheese 3. Italian sausage (I use spicy) 4. Bags of Tostitos Scoops Cook the sausage. Put the can of Rotelle and cream cheese into like a mini… -
Re: ESPN makes suprising choice for Georgia football's biggest 'obstacle' on 2020 schedule
I think our toughest game will be the 3rd time we play Bama next year. If we lose to Bama in the 4th game of the season (and run the table), we will likely have a rematch with the Tide in the SEC CG. If we win the rematch we are likely going to be the 3rd seed in the playoffs. Bama would probably be 4th with a 12-1 record…
