Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Georgia star Jalen Carter statement: plans to be ‘fully exonerated of any criminal wrongdoing’
I have to think that the prior reckless driving and racing charges had something to do with McShay’s comments about character. This won’t be popular, but the University has to take back more responsibility for discipline of athletes and athletic staff than it currently has. The days of Kirby saying we will handle it… -
Kentucky sending more of its blue chips to NFL than Alabama
This is a paper from a few years ago. But it's entirely why I don't understand why so many kids sign up to play football at Alabama. A lot lately, you'll hear in the media about how great Alabama is, because look at Reuben Foster! He only started one year in college at Alabama, and he went into the NFL. That story is just… -
The Correct formatting of new schedules
UGA and the other teams should be granted this new schedule format.. It allows for further delays without jeordizing the division match ups as well as preserves as many previously scheduled dates as possible. 9/26/20 New West Home Opponent 10/3/20 New West Road Opponent 10/10/20 Crossover Rotational Opponent -Bama… -
Re: Georgia offensive trend has shifted run-heavy with Stetson Bennett at quarterback
I highly recommend every Dawg fan read the Chip Towers (front page) article in today’s AJC Sports Section. Chip goes into great depth regarding our QB situation. Did anyone on this site know that the Mailman has a QB rating that would place him #3 in the nation and #1 in the SEC if he had 18 pass attempts per game?… -
Re: Florida’s hot recruiting run should help elevate Georgia-Florida rivalry
There are several teams who I believe will finish ahead of the gators in the recruiting rankings. now they have been top 15 and may even hit top 10 this year, but Ohio State, Bama, USC, Clemson, and FSU will all probably leap frog them before the February signing period is finished. this would put them around 8 on the 24/7… -
Re: Kirby Smart provides insight into Georgia running back plan heading into Week 1
Not so quick jvillebill....They hung 24 on Tennessee last year....of course their D allowed 65....Never under estimate a team with nothing to lose! For TM it's a huge pay day and any score they make is a winner. I've reassessed my initial bench mark for DAWG success....at first I'm thinking we need to hold them to no more… -
Re: Around the SEC: Texas A&M battles Ole Miss to stay in SEC Championship race
I'm thinking more like 45 - 24...I say that because UT is likely going to play very loose and hold nothing back on offense, and the pass rush is going to really miss Adam Anderson. Mike, you've gotten more generous in your predictions lately. I'll be very happy if you're right in this case. Aside from UT's tempo, my… -
Re: Happy Birthday, Marines!
God bless you and thank you for your service! My dad's brother in law was a Marine who served in Korea from the Inchon Landing to the Chosin Reservoir...man, the stories he would tell about how cold it was for a boy from south Georgia! He said it was so cold that the oil would freeze in their diesel engines, so they ran… -
Re: Around the SEC: Georgia still a good bet on road, Kentucky-LSU has OT potential
Hey Mike, I appreciate your keeping it real, and I'm encouraged that you think a 17 point win is on the table. Strange things happen sometimes, especially in rivalry games...anyone remember 1985 and #1 UF losing to #17 UGA 3 to 24? What an awesome game...but it can go the other way. As stated previously, I will take 27-10…
