Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Youth Coaches. What's the funniest thing you have seen on the field?
The funniest thing I ever saw as a coach was in a mixed soccer league. These were jr high age kids with boys and girls together. I had a couple of girls who were bigger, stronger and faster than most of the boys. Anyway, we were scrimmaging and one of the big girls got the ball. This chubby boy (your classic fat kid)… -
Re: 5 questions with Florida beat writer Edgar Thompson
@DallasDawg , appreciate the cordial response. Yes, it bothers me to know that the SEC scheduling committee can have so much power to skew a level playing field. I recognize it’s impossible to have all the SEC teams off or playing each after byes and someone has to get the short stick. The SEC used to be pretty good at… -
Re: Georgia football winners and losers from 2020 National Signing Day
For anybody who wants to compare Richt to Smart. Smart is only 44 years old and entering only his fifth season as a head coach — 8-4 versus Top 10 teams, riding a string of three straight SEC East titles. Recruiting better than any coach over the last 3 years. Richt recruited well, but not near as good as Saban, and it… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: Hardworking UGA players deserve a season
My thoughts on this subject: Sankey's comments lead me to believe that if the numbers do not go down, there will be no football. I hate that such a small group of people are so dramatically affecting the lives of so many with their fear-based decisions and regulations. 1. Keeping a a few thousand kids across the US off a… -
Re: Wide receiver position continues to improve thanks to 'rising star' Cortez Hankton
Sankey's comments lead me to believe that if the numbers do not go down, there will be no football. I hate that such a small group of people are so dramatically affecting the lives of so many with their fear-based decisions and regulations. I agree with most of reddawg's sentiment about the actions of the younger… -
Re: Georgia football podcast: UGA fans shouldn't panic over Big 10 cancellations
Expectations for Fall football are at 10 percent happening... here is the reality on July 11 2020 as follows... 1. 9 or 10 game schedule 2. No fans in the stands (only staff, family and media) 3. Limited or ZERO tailgating allowed on campus (at UGA or any other school) 4. Season to start sometime late or early Oct. 4. UGA… -
Re: Anybody worried about Fields injury????
The injury should not be much of an issue for football because the finger does not have to flex a great deal throwing the football, although it will create some resistance pressure. If Justin was a pitcher and not a shortstop, I think there would have been more long-term concern having to bend the finger more and putting… -
Re: 3 things to know before betting UGA as a 21.5-point favorite vs. South Carolina
I am an alum and the game is not over but I no longer see UGA as a threat in the SEC..trailing SC in 4th...so reminiscent of Tenn. UGA definitely not a top 3 and will likely drop out of top 10 even top 15...will probably lose this game....even with SC quarterback out!!! This VERY poor showing says it all. I had a gut… -
Re: Peter333
Kasey, since you brought up the Four Horsemen, I will re-post a comment I made on another thread some time ago, in case anyone may find it interesting. My comment (below) was in response to someone suggesting that Swift, Zeus, Cook, and Herrien are the new "four horsemen." ------- The Four Horsemen- I love it! Our guys… -
Re: 3 things from Georgia basketball's perplexing 72-69 loss at Missouri
I can understand that we aren't good. Turning this team around will take time. But just like with the football team this season, I'm surprised that this team never seems to improve, game to game. They are making the same mistakes now that they were at the beginning of the season -- crucial turnovers, spotty (or…
