Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Kirby Smart: 10-3 win over Clemson ‘electric,’ but offense must improve
Two things that separate this team from Georgia teams of the past 40 years. First, unlike most Georgia teams, the Dawgs did not give up a score in the last 5 mins of the 1st half. Second, despite the lack of production all night, the offense pulled up their socks & closed out the last 5 mins of the game with Savage running… -
Re: Meatball Sub
I'd say large but nothing crazy, maybe the size of a medium egg. Pound of beef, mixed with the crumbs, should make about a dozen meatballs? I serve 3-4 meatballs with marinara on a pile of pasta (I prefer linguine or fettuccini). If I were making a meatball sub I might cut them in half. I agree with OP on provolone as the… -
Re: Want some Crean stats to get pumped up about ?...looky here...
Have you actually watched our offense ? Entertainment does matter. Crean runs the same weak set motion offense as Golden State, it's not JUST entertainment though, we shouldn't have 10 minute periods where we can't score a basket like we did so often with Fox's too static iso plays. Say goodbye to 3 players standing around… -
Re: Rick Pitino
Well, I guess I didn’t openly say it. But nobody expects Pitino to be able to pull off 7 years of good behavior, I guess you could read what I said the way you seemed to have read it. But that’s just how I handle people I don’t want to work with. I tell them a bunch of things I want them to do that are entirely reasonable.… -
Re: Braves 2018 starting pitching...
From the look of Spring Training thus far, it appears our starting pitchers are doing well (for the most part) in these 2-3 inning starts. That doesn't mean they can hang on thru innings 4-6/7. So, my guess is the success of this team is going to rely on relief pitching. Offense is producing early in games, when starters… -
Re: First Trip to Athens!
I have always used Stub hub, but opinions vary on here. Being your 1st time, I would suggest arriving around 3 hours before game time. That way you can do a little site seeing and still go to the Dawg walk. You have to do the Dawg walk to fully experience game day. As for parking, there are a few free spots, but we… -
Re: Anyone see/read this article on Vince Dooley?
@levander. You are absolutely correct in your comparison of Dooley to Spurrier and Bryant. However if you look at the years preceding Dooley, minus the one 10-1 season, it was abysmal. As for the fertile recruiting grounds, that wasn't there during most of Dooley' s career. The state of Georgia didn't become the recruiting… -
Re: *HELPFUL TIP* Do you want to change your Profile Picture/Avatar? Here's how...
Hmmm...the instructions are showing for me. Perhaps a firewall is blocking the image I pasted with instructions? Regardless here they are: Changing your profile picture/avatar: 1. Click on the settings (gear icon) to the right of your user name at the top of the page 2. Click Edit Profile 3. From the Profile page, click… -
Re: Carlton Madden Jr: Fast-rising prospect says ‘it just feels like it is right’ about UGA
I think it’s a safe thing to never underestimate this type of player. We all know that good, bad, or in between the star ratings many times can be very wrong. Whether over estimating a believed 5 star or in underestimating a believed to be 3 star. Am I saying UGA should rush out and corral as many 3 stars as they can ? No… -
Re: Georgia suffers complete team loss in 41-24 setback to Alabama in SEC Championship Game
@navydawg...Our Defense was horrible, but it wasn't all their fault that we lost. Other than very good play from our O-line and Bowers, our offense was not very good. So, we had a complete failure on both sides of the ball. We were never going to be able to compete in a shootout against Young with an average QB like Stet.…
