Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: OPINION: What happens if Carson Beck leaves and Dylan Raiola flips to Nebraska
"CFB football is (should be) the consummate team sport"_____@Eric_C The CFP Committee differs with that statement. FSU's Footbal "Team" was eliminated from competition because 1 player out of their 85 man "Team" roster went down to injury. The playoff "Committee" decided Defense, Special Teams, Offensive Line and RB's… -
Re: Georgia football defensive line recruiting picture comes into focus with latest commitment
So when you see the NIL value listed on sites I'm sure it is on a per year basis. With NIL collectives I would imagine their may be an initial NIL amount (let's say you are ranked 50 composite overall player) and you get 200K for the first year. Then after that first year you get a collective amount going forward (let's… -
Re: Georgia coach Kirby Smart opens up on D'Wan Mathis in portal, pending transfer
Wow - Agreed on all points - Read the above and know this posts has it nailed! I too, wish him all that he is looking for in a place to land, maybe Mel Tucker could use his talents? Without the reference to Mike's article, but I appreciate his point of view as well.....I saw too much "lacking" in Mathis's game to believe… -
Re: Report: Florida, LSU football out-spending Georgia on support staff, ‘everything is important’
Florida is a total mess. With all the people that Napier dismissed and the people who entered the portal - there is a huge degree of overlap in those - plus the Gators were already nowhere near 85 due to Mullen's neglect, how many scholarship players do they even have? Even worse: recruiting this year isn't going great.… -
Re: Kirby Smart updates Georgia injuries Tennessee week; Adonai Mitchell return would provide lift
McConkey, Blaylock, K. Jackson and Bell are enough to take it "over-the-top", if that's what UGA wants to do. It seemed,, intentional to me, that Smart and Monkin didn't try out the long game a little bit to flex that muscle. I believe there were a number of reasons to ratchet-down UGA's explosive offense, after the… -
Re: What updated ‘blue-chip ratio’ says about Georgia football’s title chances for 2022 season
I don't think so. Auburn (2004, 2010) and Clemson (2016, 2018) had 3 titles plus an undefeated season without regular top 5 classes. Richt's main problem was that he didn't prioritize OL and DL recruiting enough. He put way more effort into getting DBs and WRs than he did dominant NTs and LTs. It got so bad that at one… -
Re: General topic, what (if anything) have you learned this week ?
Dawgsince76. The idea many have that the person driving fastest should be deferred to is nonsense. If you've driven on open interstate in fairly heavy but not bottlenecked traffic you understand the pain in the ass jerk who insist on driving 85 even when there is an implied agreement among most drivers in that lane to… -
Re: 2019 Gameday Recipes
I’m on a real burger kick lately but trying to make a really good burger at home can be daunting nowadays with the poor quality of mass ground beef, lower fat content, and the popularity. Half the sites want you to grind your own meat. I’ve tried it before but it’s just not something that I can or want to do on a regular… -
Re: SEC legend Tim Tebow: Georgia needs ‘elite quarterback play to get over the hump’
Tebow is 100% right. Bennett was showing his frustration with his body language and especially those arm gestures. we lost the 3rd down conversions by 2 with Alabama converting 7 of 14 to our 3 of 12, we lost the red zone point conversions with Alabama converting 3 0f 3 while we were 3 of 5. We turned the ball over twice… -
Re: Georgia wide receiver De’Nylon Morrissette arrested on multiple driving related charges
My 1st thought was "well there's the last scholarship needed to get down to 85". I am 100% for getting tough on real criminals. SOMETHING significant is needed as a deterrent to the rampant crime going on now all across our country. But I don't think CKS will kick a player off just to make an example. Kicking #23 off…
