Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Braves choose the cheap route... again...
He’s available from the Rockies by trade because he isn’t earning the $34 million a year. Superstar at hom, but he hit 74 points lower away from Coors Field last season. Some suggest the reason being the drop in altitude is hard on guys when they leave during the season. I dunno. The contract should make the prospect… -
Re: BREAKING: 4-star junior DB Tae Harris backs off his commitment to Georgia football
Brings back a painful memory from winter quarter 74......I was going with a very sweet local girl. On the first day of a Bio lab, my lab partner was Farrah Fawcett, well maybe not but she was a dead ringer.....needless to say I "de committed" by avoiding "sugar britches" and focused on Farrah. When I look at the "Farrah's"… -
Re: Covid Vaccine
Considering COVID-19 is 6x more contagious than the flu, and in people over 70 the mortality is around 10-14%, your church family thanks you as well. Relative to 18-29 yo adults, mortality in age 50-64 is 30x higher, 65-74 is 90x higher, 75-84 is 220x higher, and 85+ is 630x higher. Those 65+ individuals are the ones who… -
Re: WATCH: 3 Georgia football takeaways, newfound 'Swag' and intimidation
Why are all of our running plays either off-center or jet sweeps? What happened to running off tackle, or even a toss sweep to Swift or Cook? It seems like every time we run, it has to be straight up the middle. Run a toss sweep with Swift off of big 71, with a pulling 74 or 77 out there hunting some linebackers' heads.… -
Re: Please consider this the next time the urge strikes to post something snarky about CMR..
Dooley had a 72% winning percentage. That fell to 57% under Goff. Donnan built us back up to 68%. Richt improved that to 74%. Kirby has bumped that up to 79%. ------- The biggest drop off came under Goff. (15%). The biggest improvement came under Donnan. (11%). ------- Three conclusions: 1) Richt is underrated, given that… -
Re: My wish list for The Hawks' draft tomorrow night..
@WCDawg I dont think thats all the way true about the draft. Besides Steph Curry the top 10 players come from single mother households. Heck the best drafted players recently (Tatum, Brown, etc) come from single family households as well. I think its a matter of how hard a mother works and sets the example. Dads are great… -
Re: Alabama raises Nick Saban above Kirby Smart, Tide all-in on maintaining dynasty
I'd say about 2 years in a row of not winning a NC, 3 years for definite sure, and the fans start murmuring(and they always do) with great expectations and having done so multiple times in the past, they figure it's their right, and who knows, Saban just might just say, "OK, I'm out of here." I don't believe old Bobby and… -
Re: 2018 Blue-Chip Ratio
"This is what I wrote about Georgia in last year’s Blue-Chip Ratio post: Kirby Smart inherited a good Georgia roster from Mark Richt, but his first two classes are humming at 74 percent, while Richt’s final two were at 53. It’s not yet known if Smart can coach, but Georgia’s talent is being upgraded. Turns out, Smart seems… -
Re: NIL deals help fuel supercharged cars involved in Georgia football speeding incidents
@UGADad20 74 speeding incidents over 8 years. Or 9 speeding incidents a year for a total of 300 plus players during that entire time. 74 sounds like a lot but over 8 years maybe not as big a deal as you are making it out to be. Once again I come back to my original question which is what is the appropriate punishment for… -
Re: Confidence high among fans, but Dawgs must answer key questions
Bill, I too appreciate the coalescing of fact in a skillfully written summation which has reignited my flickering mid March DAWG flames of passion.....I'm now marking off the days till September 2 and will reread your piece several times before the first kick off! Alas, I know Bill's secret....not only is he a DGD, class…
